    Can we talk about how 1 sided the ref was in this?

    Not sure why there wasn’t another KD when the ropes held Davies up. It seemed to come from a punch. We conveniently never saw a replay showing their feet get tangled.

    Davies held excessively, with no warning.

    Davies consistently hit while holding.

    Valenzuela got a point taken for hitting on the break, after being held excessively.

    Davies held Valenzuela against the ropes and leaned on him, holding the ropes with one hand and hitting him repeatedly with the other. No mention from the ref.

    Davies consistently hit Valenzuela in the back of the head. Even doing so blatantly after spinning him. It happened 6or 7 times, with several warnings, but no action taken.

    This was embarrassingly poor and 1 sided reffing job from a supposed professional. Truly awful.

    So Gill went life and death and would definitely have lost if it was a 12 rounder because of the ridiculous Barnet he was rocking, Davies did lose because of his ridiculous Barnet, and if PBK hasn't shaved that Dagestani leprechaun beard of his off he might well lose too. And I called it all on the first page of the thread

    I'm assuming it's because MX is one of the only countries that does not have any COVID travel restrictions... Expect to see 'em switch to Brazilians on the next couple of Matchroom cards though...

    I loved these fights but come on...we should't support that **** if a guy gets upset by another guy there must be a rematch immediately. It's bull****. Accept the loss, move on and give the other guy a chance to built on that. You can only lose in a rematch if you won the first fight. I really hate that **** that everyone wants a rematch or has a rematch clause. ESPECIALLY in non title fights.
