I like Charlton, hope he has a good performance inn him tonight
Aye Davis is collateral damage
Fair play to the judges for that one.
This is a great night of Saturday boxing and a good advert for the sport
If that was me as the fighter, I'd expect to think to myself to a degree and I'd of gone orthodox if I honestly felt what I was being told wasn't working. End of the day the fighter has to use his gut instinct, I know it's hard to go against the corners advice though but if you deep down can tell then you do what you think will win you the fight.
Entertaining fight, right winner. Obviously wanted RDJ to win but glad he never got the decision as he lost. I think he lost by 2-3 rounds. Why there was a Liverpool ref for a fight involving a Liverpool fighter I will never know. Fighter/Ref shouldn't be from same place.
Yeah m8 all we want is consistency now eh!
Have not been impressed with Marku so far, Would love to see another of Eddie's ticket sellers done by Charlton too.
The judges may have to run for their lives if the fight goes the distance and Marku has a meltdown.
Enjoying the boxing tonight. Well done to Matchroom for getting these Mexicans over as they always bring it.
The ref did everything he could to help RDJ then. Constantly pulled up on infringements and took nothing whilst (rightfully) taking one off the Mexican kid.
Always supported Davies but he's done now. He's got one hell of a chin on him. Always had the skills but likes a fight to much and not enough pop to keep an opponent honest. He needs to hang them up. Has @kojak mentioned, Joe Hughes bust him up and should have had a win over him too.
Certainly a step up from those tough weak Latvian types
Mick “peter griffin” hennessy would have never made the mistakes Hearn has with matchmaking lately
Totally agree m8.
Had a feeling Davies would lose on points, a Charlton points win would pay for my cheat day tomorrow!
