According to the following article, Schaefer seems to be very much trying to sell the idea that a Haye-Harrison fight wouldn't be a bad thing...

Some choice quotes from the Golden Boy supremo:

"This would be a huge fight over here (the UK) while a world heavyweight championship unification fight against either Wladimir or Vitali Klitschko remains the target, Haye-Harrison would not only be a sell out in England but would translate well to American television."

    and

"Audley sells a good fight and it is not forgotten in America that won an Olympic gold medal."

    Oh dear.

She has not done anything that even slightly resembles what Floyd has accomplished.

Floyd is p4p number one or two for years now. He also never wore T - shirts with severed heads of people he was calling out. Completely different situation. Floyd acts like a dive since he reached to top, Haye keeps talking about reaching the top and doesn't take the steps to do it.

After Haye saw the first money rolling in at HW he lost all desire to take any risk whatsoever. That's why now he is handpicking the lowest risk opponents to make his money. Haye is obviously not boxing for legacy but for his bank account. He talks about writing history and people remembering his boxing career in 50 years from now but he forgets that you can't write boxing history without risking your belt against good fighters.

Haye will be forgotten in a matter of days if he keeps fighting nobodies like Valuev, Ruiz or Harrison.

Haye should face Audley in the UK. Audley is a tall opponent, this will give HAye much needed experience to fight Wlad in a couple years.

Remember how Booth said he would "hate to see Haye box Audley"? Well if you don't like to fight Audley then why talk to him?

Does Booth think we're all idiots as boxing fans and can't see through this BS. Booth is already creating an excuse how they don't really want to fight Harrison but they would do so only due to the incredible demand of the British public? Please.

Among boxing people outside the uk maybe. Unfortunately the deluded and uninformed masses lap up the bull**** the media feeds them and he will continue to be a heavyweight leviathan from whom the Klitschkos are running. Because the media says so.

The dumb British media is hailing Haye as the second coming of Dempsey, Ali and Louis all in one boxer. Unfortunately many naive British boxing fans lap up the propaganda without using their brain.

I love this 'demand of the British public' aspect they keep trotting out...

Hardly any of the British public even remember Audley Harrison anymore - he's been out of the press for years - and I honestly don't know anyone who wants to see the fight.

The HW division needs saving...oh, wait - isn't that what Haye said he'd be doing???
