There about the same size. Foreman was considered big in the 70s but Haye is not a "small" heavyweight. It's just the champions are extremely big heavyweights.

But Foreman still is prob top 5 heavyweight puncher of all time. The Hayemaker is far from that and I don't think even Wladmir comes close.

I doubt I'm making myself sound dumb. That's what the people who believe Foreman cut from 240 to 220 are doing, more like :yep

Haye's toe is roughly the same size as Foreman's.

  5. Foreman was in shape at 220-225. Haye's top weight is about 220. Haye is 6'3,Foreman was 6'4. Foreman was wider, thicker and bulkier. Not to mention George was stronger, tougher, meaner, more heart, better chin, better fighter and not a *****.

That was Foreman AFTER a long training camp, without lifting weights and in tip-top lean and mean fighting shape. He probably walks around at 300+ right now and he's not ridiculously fat. In those days when he was in between camps I'd be kinda surprised if he went less than 240. Haye most likely has to bulk up like crazy and take tons of supplements to get to that weight and stay there.

Of course he cut weight, you moron. If you don't know this, you don't know ANYTHING about boxing. Training camp is all about cardio and developing speed, cardio removes fat, removing fat aids endurance and speed. Foreman doesn't NATURALLY have the rock hard, cut and chiseled body he walked into the ring with against Ali. That was the result of many hours of roadwork and exercise and CUTTING WEIGHT. **** I was up to 207 a month ago, I'm 5' 9" and stocky and was only sorta fat. I'm half George Foreman's size.

as stated foreman a little different body style and was naturally a bigger man. even if haye's close, its unfortunate for him that the title holders today are 6'6 plus and natural 250lbers unlike in foreman's day

No it doesn't. Muhammad Ali used to walk around 230lbs and he would easily shed 20lbs during training camp. Back then heavyweights actually got in shape.

Haye doesn't have to bulk up to get to 220. . . He was cutting a lot of weight to make 200. . . He probably walks around at 220, and naturally weighs about 212-215 when training hard, and just eating clean, but NOT "dieting". . .

Foreman probably walked around at about 225-230 or so, and after a hard training camp, would weigh in around 220. . .

About a 7-10 pound difference of natural weight.

plus foreman looks as if he's been doing road work in preparation to get to 220 whereas haye looks like he's been jacking weights bigtime to be close to that mark (he does have a little less fat).....any rate not a huge difference

yeah. . foreman didnt cut weight, but just training hard - running, etc., he'd prolly lose around 10 pounds of "walkimg around" weight. .

while haye probably made sure to eat a little more to kep his weight up when training.

yup i'd guess foreman would've been walking around at about 235 (maybe more depending on lenght between fights). i'd bet haye was in a club last night showing off his abs and weighing maybe 215-220

Haye's actually much stronger than Foreman. You have to remember that big George carried a hell of a lot of body fat on his frame while Haye weighs around the same weight but with it being all solid muscle.
