David Haye - Adam Booth relationship after the weekend???

    I wasnt able to watch the fight over the weekend , but listened to it on the Radio with Adam Booth doing the coverage.

    At first it was clear that Adam did not like anything Chisora was doing, and infact rated him as a Sunday league footballer vs a Premiership side . But littlie by little as the rounds went on there ended up being a clear respect for Chisora and if anything a realisation that his fighter David Haye did not fight anywhere nearly as bravely as this novice fighter.

    Now cut to Haye who when i have seen him at fights before likes the odd drink and gets a bit more full of himself.

    I think it was his dutch courage that got him into trouble , where everybody else was sober and the worst part of this for Haye is that he hit Adam booth with the Camera tripod . Nobody from Chisora's clan attempted to hit or hurt Booth, infact Chisora was rubbing a towel over Booths face to stop the blood.

    Just a thought but if I were Adam Booth I would be more pissed at Haye than anyone else at that event.

    So, has it been firmly established that Haye was responsible for injuring Booth ??

    Booth was really pissed off with that, and seemed to think one of Dereck's entourage or Dereck himself had bottled him. But he was admittedly confused.

    Was it haye then ?

    The whole thing was a circus..and I'm not talking some classy performance by cirque du soleil, but more like that shite tent erected for 1 week on your local common.

    It was an embarrassment for Britain that our sportsmen acted like children in a playground.

    Adam Booth should have stopped his fighter from making a tit of himself at that press conference, he will regret that more than the tripod in the face.

    Yeah, I need to get the link , after the initial couple of punches Haye throws that tripod (madness!) , clearly hits Booth on the hairline and the blood starts to flow, will only be a matter of time before Booth sees this and realises it wasnt Chisora's men, but his own man.

    Nah, I think it was that lunatic, Chisora, charging at him looking to start a fight, that got him [Haye] into trouble. I doubt he was that influenced by alcohol. Sober or non-sober, he still would have hit him. And so would you and the rest of us. When you've got a loose cannon heading towards you - one that's promised to slap you on numerous times - then you'd be a fool not to get the first punch off.

    As for Adam Booth, I doubt he'll be upset with Haye accidentally hitting him. He knows he did what he had to do. Friendly fire, man. That's all it was.

    I'm pretty sure he already knows. He's had the whole of Sunday to review the footage. I doubt he's still out there wondering who glassed him from behind :lol:.

    Booth will be fine with it, they'll probably laugh it off when seeing the footage of Haye swinging a a ****ing tripod around. I hope Booth sees that gif made of him, that was funny as ****.

    Yeah, I don't think it would effect the relationship with Haye.


    he does actually owe Chisora's an apology though.

    Booth: I want to know who glassed me.
    Chisora: As you were trying to hold your fighter away, he [Haye] probably glassed you by mistake.
    Booth: You hit me with a bottle.
    Chisora: David had a bottle in his hand.

    no, 'dutch courage' is an expression meaning somebody who grows balls after drinking a lot.
