    Reassessing Wlad's Victim's/ Appreciation Thread
    David Deron Haye is a 6'3 34 year old Heavyweight/former Cruiserweight with a 26-2 24 KO's 1 KO loss. Born and raised and fighting out of Bermondsey, London, United Kingdom. The Son of a Jamaican father and English mother. David Haye while the subject of many jokes about his questionable excuses, he has a glass toe, and innuendos about his preferences, the fact remains that he is one of the most exciting to watch, hard hitting, explosive fighters in the division and is a genuinely great fighter. Much has been made recently about Tyson Fury's dominant performance and stoppage of Del Boy Chisora but it wasn't comparable to Haye's destruction of him just after his match with Wlad. Unfortunately he retired because of many supposed nagging injuries that plagued him and doubt in him grew even more after cancelling his 2013 return match against Tyson citing a career threatening back injury.

    But during his career which was momentarily sidetracked by a Wlad like unfortunate 5th round towel stoppage at the hands of Carl Thompson, which I personally think was a bit too soon, his corner should have at least given a few seconds to clear his head in the before stopping it. However he rebounded nicely be ripping through the Crusierweight Division and eventually the Heavyweight with very good wins over John Ruiz, Audley Harrison, Monte Barrett, Jean-Paul Mormeck, Enzo Maccarinelli, Sugar Nikolay Valuev and Giacobbe Fragomeni to name a few and all slightly before they severely hit the wall. So for those of you not acquainted with Haye try to acquaint yourself a little and prepare yourselves with your fingers crossed that he doesn't stub his toe during training and finally make his long awaited return to action this year and possibly put himself right back into the mix at Heavyweight just as the division is starting to heat up again.     I wonder if he still has the human growth hormone gut--assuming that was a legitimate image of him with a human growth hormone gut in the first place. If his internal organs have increased in size he probably won't be able to take body shots.:think

    There was a pic of him in the dailymail a few days ago, seems like hes put the muscle mass back on so he shouldnt be too far away from a return (hopefully ive always been a fan of him in the ring)

    He didnt look like he looked against Ruiz but he was def weighing 220 lbs + tho id like him to drop back down to CW personally but Haye u dont always get what you want :rofl

    He's done. He would rather be a Z-grade celeb than a fighter. And that was before his shoulder injury (assuming, of course, that it is legit).

    Probably for the best, because he does not have a heavyweight chin.

    Love your threads, man, but Haye'e heavyweight fights mostly sucked because he knew damn well that he could nto take a big man's punch.

    The problem with Haye is he fought in the heavyweight because that's where the money is while he's really a cruiserweight. He's a great boxer but he just can't cope with 7'/2.13cm reach giants(Valuev was done when he fought Haye). He's a good example as to how boxing needs a modification in heavy weight classes where giants like Wlad, Fury, Wilder etc should be in a different division. As for his comeback, I'd just say, "be serious please". He probably needs money, but we all know how that ends. He shouldn't betray his career by making a come back and belittle himself by losing to someone he could easily KO 5 years ago.

    the cruiser/hw is no real excuse though. he was a hw to begin with really.

    shame he really did have some natural talent with excellent reflexes and such. but boxers should concentrate on being boxers during their career, haye seems to busy with his media career to care these days.

    Haye would have 2 tune-up fights last year ... didn't happen.
    He still has nothing scheduled yet.

    I still don't believe the Haye comeback yet. He had a career ending injury and suddenly it isn't.
    I will believe it when he enters the ring again.
