David Hayemaker Haye and Alfredo Angulo are planning to make comebacks soon. However in my opinion due to the injures these two have suffered in their illustrious careers I feel that would be a really bad idea. Both men are proud warriors with a never say die attitude. Both men when rather die in the ring than pull a quit job. The injury suffered to Angulo's eye in the Lara fight and Haye's toe prior to the fight with Wlad will leave both fighters taking unnecessary punishment. Angulo ended up practically blind in one eye against Lara and has been passed around like a bum by journeyman Canelo Alvarez and gatekepper James De La Rosa since- unable to see punches coming and taking devastating damaged to his already grotesque rat-like Mexican face. The damage to Haye's toe also ensures he won't be able to move around much in there when as a blown up Cruiserweight he will often find himself cornered by some massive plodding Russian who out weighs him by 250lbs. Do you agree that these chaps needs to call it a day. Here are pictures of the hideous injuries (not for the weak of heart): Angulo: http://usatthebiglead.files.wordpress.com/2013/06/angulo-eye.jpg :yikes Haye: http://news.bbcimg.co.uk/media/images/53826000/jpg/_53826282_toe.jpg :yikes
Angulo can land a job in Holywood replacing the dude that played in Machete as bad azz Mexican in western movies.
:good I'm more worried about him than Angulo to be honest. It's possible to box with one eye- just try it now- close your left eye a throw a combo at a household pet- not ideal put possible. But now try throwing a combo standing on one foot- it's really hard.
:good. I still favor him to be Wilder at this stage for a mickey mouse title, but someone legit and Haye could be leaving the ring on a stretcher.
Having looked at the tremendous damage inflicted upon Haye's toe, it's amazing how he competed again.
