Does anyone seriously think Haye could take one of the right hands Chagaev took? Wlad had some heat on his Jab and right hand tonight. Haye would have been out of there in the 1st or 2nd round with that Glass Jaw of his. Too bad I doubt we ever see Haye fight a Klitschko because it will be another episode of "Shattered Glass" for David Haye and his nuthuggers.

David Haye doesn't have a glass jaw. Let's get that straight. He does however have a rice paper back.

I already posted something similar to this and got responses from people saying that Haye would have avoided Wlad's punches.

    Yo momma.

That being said it is very possible with the performance Wlad put on tonight he would have KO'd Haye.Wlad put on the best performance in years IMO.

He couldn't take what Chag took, no. I think he'd take one or two though. I don't think Wlad could take many of Haye's punches either though.

That is assuming Haye can even land a punch.

I really don't get this guys homo-erotic fixation with "glass jaws". What a weirdo.

It is no different that the homosexual obsessions some have on here for the Klitschko's or David Haye for that matter.

Haye would have been gone within 4 rounds tonight. Wlad really "had it" and he was throwing some heavy shots when he decided to. He looked awesome.

It looked easy tonite for Wlad because Chagaev fought Wlad's fight. Thats pretend I'm Teddy Atlas for a second and I'm giving the keys on what not to do against Wlad. Dont stand on the outside and try to box with Wlad or "Bang", Wlad catches you with jabs all night , dont circle to his power hand or "bang", you will get crushed by a big right hand.

Along with that, he rarely even tried to pressure Wlad, which let Klit comfortable enough to do what he pleased in the ring. I rarely seen any rough house tactics, aside from the low blow and the punch after the bell. He should of did more, he pretty much gave the win to Wlad.

the thing is haye wont try pot shot wlad, he will throw in combinations which is the way to beat him. look at the sanders fight. although i still think wlad will KO haye or any of the other HW contenders

There are too many stylistic differences between the Wlad-Chagaev matchup and the Wlad-Haye matchup to make an accurate comparison imo.

I believe that handspeed and power are in Haye's favor over Ruslan Chagaev. I've always said that Ruslan simply had nothing for Wlad to worry about. He also fought looking to land 1-2's with Wlad even though he's a lot smaller and has much shorter reach. Haye is an orthodox fighter and his speed and (possibly) punching power would give Wlad something to be weary of.

That said...Wlad KO's Haye in 4. Haye is an orthodox fighter and he doesn't fight with his hands up the way Ruslan does. WK's powerful left hook off the jab would cause Haye all sorts of problems. Wlad didn't show the hook today against Ruslan.... probably because he was a southpaw and the 1-2 was working great, so he didn't need to. Styles make fights.

Haye has never encountered a fighter anywhere near as tall, strong and skilled as Wlad. Haye's little head will have a very painful- and likely, short- night being beaten senseless.
