David Haye: Chisora Told Me Whyte Would Fail Test And Has Been Preparing For Joshua.

But this does expose Hearn again, as why did he wait a week to announce the failed test? It was purely in my book to get more buys, as he knew that Chisora vs AJ isn’t going to sell as much as Whyte vs AJ.

With how AJ now fights, it should be ok for Chisora to get through this fight safely. It’s not like AJ is going to step on the gas and throw hands on the inside with ill intent. He has not done that since the Ruiz Jr first fight.

 

Chisora is more dangerous than Whyte for 4 rounds. Just has to not let AJ clip him early.

 

Hate to say it but Joshua/Chisora seems the most likely replacement. British fans know and like Chisora so it will sell even if it's a mismatch and Hearn gets to keep it in house. But Chisora should really just retire, he already taken far too much punishment over his long career.

 

How many big fights is Chisora going to get ffs? Plenty of other prime fighters out there for AJ to pick, which means Chisora it is.
Looking forward to Chisora's trilogies with AJ, Usyk, and maybe Wilder.

 

To be fair, you can't call yourself a top 5 heavyweight until you have faced the gatekeeper that is Derek 'War' Chisora.

It's almost like a coming of age thing - AJ has clearly been ducking Derek since about forever

 

What an absolute garbage fight. At least Joshua would try to spark Washington, but him and Chisora are friends. Not to mention he lost 4 out of his last 5 fights.

Chisora will make it a good fight and even has a shot at winning. Styles make fights and I think Chisora is all wrong for AJ at this stage. AJ should win but this is not a certainty.

If everyone at heavyweight fought the fighters Dereck did we would be talking about the best generation of heavyweights of all time and they would be making mega money, which they would deserve. I love Floyd he's one of my favourite fighters, but the precedent Floyd has set has destroyed boxing.
