Well as a long time Chisora fan I do agree with your sentiments, that Derek should have hung them up a good few fights ago...

However, he's fighting this coming weekend regardless, and AJ needs a replacement that's equal to or better than Whyte. Chisora fits the bill in that respect for the most part . I'd be ok with it as a last minute thing considering what's happened.

I'd rather see Hrgovic face AJ but that's not a likely choice to happen. To risky for AJ as an opponent change.

One thing with Del boy is, as past it as he is, he will rush you and try and take your head off. And AJ doesn't like that....

Haye says Chisora knew all about Whyte failing the drugs test in advance of it breaking, and that Chisora has hinted he'd be up for the fight with AJ.

There are a whole list of guys that should get this fight ahead of Chisora. This is the reason no one develops and boxing is dead.

I get the impression that Chisora has some serious leverage for some reason. Absolutely nobody seems to have a bad word for him, despite his hardly seeming the easiest sort of bloke. I mean, how many people are 'friends' with both AJ and Fury? Also, how did the Saudi gig come about?
