    Think he was probably carrying the injury going in, probably why he looked so reckless/aimless in the early stages.

    Not easy at 36 when you've had injuries, just adds to the greatness of Vitali: 4 years out and comes back to complete dominance for another 4. The eternal one.

    I did half assed - fluked it as well saying tongue in cheek that Bellew needed to step on his toes and win late.

    Injured or not, that was a terrible way to start the fight. Had he actually tried to box and then surprised Bellew with that... whatever it was... he might have pulled it off. He just showed that he can't aim and is slow from the first bell, all Bellew had to do was survive long enough and that he did.

    i think if he pulled out, that would of been the end of him, as over the years he has pulled out of too many fights.

    Agree, and Vitali came back a 37 years old with injuries, and actually gave a world level heavyweight a one sided beat down. Really was a great champion.
