It's just trash talke, dude. Let go. He hyped a fight and he did it fucking magnificently. Same with the Chisora fight. The level of hype Haye can generate off of talk alone is unique in this era of boxing.

He obviously didn't deliver but, you know, trash talk sometimes does backfire. Move on.

David Haye is talanted but massively over rated. Also his fights are not that exciting in fact they are usually boring.

IF David Haye is coming back, I wished he'd do it already.

As much as I dislike Andre Dirrel, at least he's makign fights and becoming less Dirrelevant these days.

David Haye reeks of wanting a payday. At least Dirrel is takign tuneups and stepups as he's having his 3rd fight in 6 months this month.

If Haye is serious about fighting, he'd sign to fight a McNuggett or even Sprott. Both those guys would happily entertain the idea of making a fight with Haye, and he could put himself back in the top 15 with a tuneup.

Not saying Haye is done as a fighter and he shouldnt get another shot after his Fury pullouts and his Wlad debacle, but realistically, Shannon Briggs has done MORE to earn a big fight in 6 months than Haye has done in 3 yrs. :patsch

no hayes done more by a long shot. he beat a fringe contender in style. briggs beat noone.

but they both have done relatively nothing.

I think Haye's CW resume is overrated. His best wins there are Mormeck and Macarinelli. He didn't fight Bell, Cunningham, or Huck.

And some people say he'll get in the HoF. When your best career wins are Mormeck, Maccarinelli, Valuev, old Ruiz, and Chisora, you'll never be eligible for the HoF.

What's really sad is he's considered one of Wlad's best wins.

Maybe in terms of ability, but definitely not in terms of resume.

Though, it's not like Povetkin had a stellar resume either.

Let's not forget that Haye has all of 27 fights.

And while his wins arent the BEST CV.....he did be DelBoy far more impresively than anyone else had, and his wins over Valeuv, Barrett, Harrison, Boznin, and Ruiz at HW are are as good a 6 fight record at a weight could be.

Not saying he's the best, it's just his inactivity that keeps him from being a potential great.

Let's be serious.....he would destroy Chagaev. He would maul Bryant Jennings. And he'd box the ears off and stop Arreola.

If he'd get busy fighting, he could still become a top 5 HW and potential titlist. :think

I also think Haye's power is overrated. It took him 9 rounds to KO ancient Ruiz, Harrison got up after a knockdown, and Maccarinelli took two flush right hands from him without getting rocked.

    says who you? :rofl

Barrett was 38 years old and lost 3 of his last 6
Harrison was 40 and just god awful, coming off a KO1 loss less than a year prior :-(
Ruiz was 38 , inactive for 2 years when Haye gave him loss #9!
Valeuv is the largest and worst belt holder ever
Bonin? who the fu.ck is that??

and your last point sums up this clowns career

"he would" do this to chagev
"he would" do this to Bryant
"he would" do this to arreola

prob is "he dont" do shi.t against people like that because he is too busy fighting the shot old guys above :deal
