Tomasz Adamek on getting a fight with the Klitschkos

"I would like to thank the Klitschkos for being very generous with the percentage offer. I am looking forward to this fight.

"It doesn't make a difference to me which Klitschko I fight. Right now they are both the biggest stars in the boxing world and I want to fight the biggest stars. I'm grateful for the opportunity."

Now I strongly believe that Haye has been bent over the negotiation table and raped by K2, but a big part of that was due to his attitude. Had he taken a more humble approach, he may have found a more favourable offer.

Well as I explained, Adamek has shown a willingness to fight, ahead of a willingness to get the best deal. As much as I am a Haye fan (just) he was foolish to be so aggressive in negotiations when he didn't have as strong a negotiation position as K2.

Had he taken a more humble approach, as demonstrated by Adamek, I believe he would have got a good deal done. I personally think that K2 are messing Haye around due to a perceived lack of respect.

Was that a clear enough explanation?

Do you really think the klitschikos as relatively old boxers would go, oh hes happy to accept less money and is being humble, lets give him more. No this fight is gonna secure their pension, anyway without hayes bitching this fight would lose alot of the general public interest which is where the real money is

    Absolute tosh.
So you are saying Haye's people should bend over, let Bonte have his way, then let him wipe his dick all over the curtains on his way out??
    Come on get real.
Adamek stands little to no chance so he is going to be happy with a decent pay out even if the K's are gonna make a mint.

Nah, Haye should huff and puff for another 2 years and fight more has-beens and never-weres. Then when the fight doesn't happen you lads can blame the Klitschkos and cry over who was supposed to get which fraction of the purse.

Haye was creating obstacles and creating a palava. Despite K2 contracts, he was getting an opportunity. Now he is arguably on a level playing field and went 50-50 but are the Klits supposed to wait and believe he won't screw them over again.

If I was Vitali and he mugged me off like that or Wlad and he pulled out 2 weeks prior then I would be angry.

Haye does not want a fight with either Klitschko. Haye will not fight Arreola, Peter, Chambers, Boytsoc, Helenius, etc.

Haye pulled out with a legitimate back injury against Vlad.

Vlad pulled out against Chisora too, it happens.

Haye accepted all terms offered by Klitchkos, terms they offered, then they go elsewhere.

They then rapidly book fights covering the next year, when have they done that before ? Taking it past Davids retirement date. Yet he is ducking them ?

None of us know who is avoiding who, but neither side has beaten a door down to get to the other. You can at least justify a lot of Daves actions by him wanting a fair pay day for the fight, something that virtually all of the K bros opponents complain they do not get.

i've got my eye on denis boytsov here.fairly small by klitschko standards but very quick and very powerful.maybe not ready for haye this year because he's still green and young but i can see him really coming on in a few fights time

Haye knows he will lose badly to the Klits and the destructive loss will finish his career so with Haye being a great marketing man he knows fighting the Klits has got to be a last resort. Easy to take the easy way out when money is on the table.

Didn't Haye always say how they make more money than the Klitschkos and pull in so much more money? Then why didn't they outbid K2 and get a huge fight done with Adamek?
