    realy david? because we all thought you did say u was going to gang **** audley. we were all worried for him.

    Personally i think Kay Burley is an ill advised **** stirrer and is a terrible reporter! David explained his comment pretty well there to be honest. Its a matter of fact that he was trying to get across via an analogy that, although distasteful, was accurate.

    **** off mate..... as an analogy that term is just about the worst you can use. theres probably 100 other ways he could express what he meant. i wasnt personally offended but i can understand people who were. if anything it just makes him seen like a **** that thats the first thing that cropped in his mind. im sure his mum loved seeing that interview.

    I do agree that there are a million and one more tasteful ways of saying how one sided the fight will be. I did say that it was distasteful, but it got the point across however inappropriate.

    I'm not supporting his comment but do think that its a bit of a storm in a tea cup situation. I don't know how many times i have heard similar or indeed worse comments made by guys in a bar having a laugh. Not my type of humour but why make such a fuss about it?

    Im pretty pissed with DH just now but that is a funny line , as one sided as a gang **** !

    I've been looking for opportunities to say it all week

    Not to start another argument , but , if David hadn't decided to go after the casual fan , rather than the fight fan , this might not have been a big issue.

    yeah it shouldnt be blown out of preportionbut i just found it funny how he managed to say gang **** a again. he is funny just not the brightest at times. then again **** it its better than people saying the rite thing all the time. actualy i take back the comments made. good on ya haye! you clearly dont care what peoiple think of ya!

    Seems a lot of people of this forum are the type to read the Daily Mail. Yes the comment was perhaps slightly distasteful, but boxers/comedians have, and will continue to use such phrases for the rest of time. Anyone remember when Ricardo Mayorga said he was going to send Cory Spinks to heaven to join his deceased mother?

    I respect Haye for at least sticking to his guns, and not backing down to the stupid media frenzy over the remark.
