I am not so sure of that...he beat Valuev who many felt lost to Holyfield and others but he did not dominate....an older Johnny Ruiz was his best foe at heavyweight. I think Haye has a lot of talent but he would have to prove it in the ring this time. Haye should fight a Tony Thompson or Areola or another top 10 heavyweight even Eddie Chambers but I would prefer a puncher so we can see if Haye can actually do it. First time he got the build-up from the Brits this time he has to prove it. I dont even think the Brits will buy his talk.

Haye is fast enough and good enough to get back to the top.

At this moment in time h doesn't deserve another title shot. The interest in a fight against either brother is now minimal as the gulf between the Klitschko's and everyone else was truly exposed on saturday.

Haye will need to rebuild and beat some other contenders. A fight with Arreola would be good as both are on the comeback trail.

I think Vitali fancies Haye to improve his legacy.

A win over Adamek represents a better scalp than Haye at this stage.

I would like to see a Vitali-Haye fight still but he certainly doesn't deserve a rematch with Wlad yet. Haye needs to beat a few top contenders or beat Vitali to get another shot at Wlad. He can either do that or have a retirement fight against a Holyfield.

I'm Not sure, I'm surely in the minority here believing Haye didn't do all that badly on saturday, on the negative side his ridiculous flopping and his reluctancy to trade even when the fight was slipping away, but on the positive side: He made the initial stages of the fight until the middle rounds competitive, He actually won a few rounds from a huge jabber and good technical fighter like wladimir klitschko, he showed to be elusive enough to avoid major damage, he showed to have a good chin the times he got nailed cleanly and he lasted the distance. I doubt very much Adamek would last the distance with Wlad.

But not mentally tough enough to do so. If it is not a mega-fight in which David is the centre of attention, then David would only be interested in a low risk/high pay fight with a promotable gimmick. So:

So, David would take a WK rematch and a VK fight, under the right circumstances, which would probably have to be in England for David's sake. The problem is that David still thinks that he is the draw, so he thinks that he still has the negotiating leverage.

As far as lower risk, "gimmick" fights there are [1] Holyfield (highly attractive to David) [2] Mormeck (so-so for David) [3] Solis (not so attractive and not so low risk)

No way David works his way through the rankings with a couple of tough fights. He does not have the constitution nor a sufficient grip on reality to do so. Now, a fight against a hand-picked joke that happens to be ranked in the Top 20? Maybe, but only if David thinks that it will get him immediately to a mege-fight.
