Mark my words. This will be a war. There's so much expectation and pride on the line, not to mention the styles of the fighters involved. Two world-champion power-punchers in a grudge match, with the winner becoming a boxer star in the UK to rival the massive popularity of Ricky Hatton and Joe Calzaghe. My American friends, do NOT ignore this fight just because it isn't happening in Las Vegas. Your gonna miss out if you do. I believe showtime are showing it so make you tune in. Whats other people's take on the fight? Haye is the favourite, but anyone picking enzo? Anyone who's not a Welsh Calzaghe nuthugger picking Enzo?
I doubt it will be FOTY. If they had iron chins it could be, but neither of them do. It will end early and it will most likely be Enzo's chin that gets cracked first. A lot of pride is on the line though like you said and it should be a very exciting few rounds.
For the true, linear cruiserweight championhsip of the world! This will be a cracking superfight, the winner will be worthy of all the accolades. It's a tough fight to pick for me...
come the end of the night, warren will have one less cash cow to milk and enzo will go back to fighting the mark hobson's of this world.
I hope it's a barn-burner, I just have a sneaking feeling it'll be much more of a cagey affair as both guys wait for just the right opening to strike.
Reading between the lines, Haye sounds like he thinks he's taking a huge risk - hows that going to translate on the night? I'm going to try and get someone to hook me up with some tickets for the fight...looking forward to it.
Macca may yet suprise many, don't count him out just yet - he comes from a very crafty stable. I'm going with Enzo on this one via a bodyshot, **** chins. :deal
Not likely FOTY, as I think Haye will blast out Enzo in the second round, so too short to be a contender.
Eric Fields is garbage, whoever he is I'm backing Haye to knock out my countryman in the mid-rounds, after a suprisingly cautious start
