david haye/evander holyfields..........measuements??

They are similar size but in his prime Holyfield was the more complete fighter. Haye has awesome power though, but a worse defence.

 

holyfield has a very good text book guard
and a strong chin to boot

haye does not have those, his reflexes are a little superior to holyfields though, but he relies on them far too much

still he makes for interesting viewing for sure

 

Haye IS bigger... by a whole 1/2 inch.

Holyfield- height: 6-2 1/2, reach 78"

Haye- height: 6/3, reach 78"

 

Its too early to mention these guys in the same breath.

Holyfield used to be 6'1 too.

 

The most glaring difference between the two is Haye's lack of chin.

 

Holyfield is totally superior to Haye. Herbie Hide is better than Haye.

 

Somehow a guy who throws a devastating right like Haye cannot be as defensive as Holyfield. Haye commits to that punch, although that right is fast. I just cannot see how Haye can take anything from Vlad if Vlad is fighting with leverage and moving forward.

 

Haye reaches when he punches, is wide, off balance and has no chin or stamina.
