Tony Thompson gave Wlad a much tougher fight than Haye

 

I would to see him vs Povetkin.

 

I would probably have him at 3rd, nothing in the Wlad fight indicated to me that any of the others would do better v Wlad than Haye did.

 

Haye shouldn't even be in the top 10. He is absolutely terrible. He is flashy with great speed and it fools a lot of casual fans into thinking he has skills that he doesn't. He's **** and would lose to everyone above him on that list handily as well as many of those below him.

 

It's fair.

If we assume that everyone has a loss to a Klit (or would have) then we have to look at their resumes against the rest of the heavy division.

Haye's sucks even worse than some of the other guys - some of who have actually fought real contenders. The closet thing that Haye has to a real win at Heavy is over Valuev FFS, and that was an atrocious effort - an effort that was already bettered by several other fighters by the time Haye got around to it.

A solid win over a Chambers, Arreola or Dimitrenko are worth more than a disgracefully bad win over Valuev.

Haye is in the top ten. That's about all that he has earned. People who ranked him 3rd before the fight against Wlad were deluding themselves. People who rank him highly still are equally deluded.
