I'm not an anti-haye pro-klitoris fanboy , but it's always more interesting to see the losses of a future contender (in this case Haye) . That was in 2004. Haye hasn't lost a fight since then.. Coincidentally Klitschko also lost in 2004 (vs Brewster) but unlike Haye , he had the opportunity to have his rematch (which he won..in 2007 )...

It took Thompson 5 rounds to finish Haye. What do you think ? Would Haye be able to beat that guy in a rematch ? Styles make fights , you all know it. So the question is who in the HW division is endurant enough to beat Haye like Thompson did ? Who's got the perfect work rate to pull it off ?...First name that comes to mind is Povetkin but is there anyone else ?

Chagaev vs Haye would be a great fight too...

Personally , i'd like to see Haye vs Brewster or Vladimir Virchis
Maybe Virchis would be a perfect test for his next fight...
Virchis is slow...But , his advantages ? ultra solid chin...+ real KO power.

tired after 5, I hope that there is a legit excuse. other wise a guy with a good chin just needs to take him in later rounds and finish him off.

Haye's stamina was rubbish and it cost him the fight

    Wlad. Brewster. Ringing any bells?

He was young, dumb, and just exhausted himself going for a wild KO.

Of course Haye is beatable and will lose again. He'll be one of the best ever in history if he now goes on an undefeated heavyweight career of 7 or 8 years.

Most of the top ten heavyweights would beat Haye. Even Herbie Hide has been trying to get Haye to fight him and Hide is a cruiserweight now. Vlad will kill Haye.

    Valouev
    Chagaev
    Ibragimov
    Thompson
    Povetkin
    Dimitrenko
    Bidenko
    Virchis

would all beat Haye. Not to mention many others. I would pick Monte Barret to beat Haye.

Yes he will lose again, his chin is not good enough to take shots from the big heavys.
That said do not read much into the Thompson fight, he did not train properly back then and admits he was stupid in the way he just went out partying and not preparing with road work or stamina building.

He is a FAR better fighter and more prepared fighter than he was back then and he has the speed and power to at least bring some excitement to a very dull division that has one elite fighter in it (Wlad) and the rest a bunch of fat never weres or old past it ex contenders.

Who cares what you would pick? You picked Hatton over PBF. You pick any white fighter over any black fighter and have done so like clockwork for the past 5 years.
The only black names you have thrown in to the mix of guys who would beat Haye are names of guys Wlad beat easily, which is very transparent.

If a fighter is white, you rate them.
If they are black, you say they are hype.

    Fact.

Considering how Wladimir's fans completely and totally dimiss the Puritty loss, it's a bit odd they don't do the same for Haye under similar circumstances here.

No, actually, it's not odd in the slightest.

Holyfield lost 2 rounds to Lionel Byarm when he made his pro debut. So I guess Lionel gives him a rough time every time out does he?

    Good post.

Also, good on you for 'exposing' farmboxer for the racist he is...unfortunately, it is hardly 'exposing' him, as everybody knows his schtick already, yet he manages to hang around without another ban.

    lol this post is hilarious.

this was Hayes 10th fight, and it was against a legitimate top 10 fighter that had never been stopped and has knocked most guys out. he gassed himself out due to getting big headed.

since this fight, things have changed, the one thing that has not changed is that Haye doesnt fight any bums, and only takes the toughest challenges.

To be honest, Haye won't make it as far as Herribe Hide did, unless his mangement sneaks him into a title shot without facing a top 20 heavy.

I hope Haye can make it to a title match because fans want to see it.

Yeah and he was known for huge resilience and never lost his power. He had just starched Rothmann with one shot in his previous fight.
