If there is such a thing as a fighting con man you are it, and again, some idiots are embracing your alleged comeback.

    Definition of a conman:

I think that describes David Haye perfectly. And I'm not talking about just his Harrison fight. I'm talking about his credentials as a heavyweight that he sold to the public during the past 3 years. He made almost everyone in UK - mainly the casuals that didn't know better - jump on his bandwagon, and believe he was going to destroy Wladimir like he was nothing.

And now, if given the opportunity, he'll likely take up Vitali's offer, and do the exact same thing again.

Isn't that what everyone does though? Say they're going to beat their opponent.

But that's not just what Haye did.

During a long, tedious, three-year process, he lived off the Klitschko name and generated a huge UK following that didn’t merit his true worth. His disrespectful trash-talk, exaggerated claims of being a top heavyweight and a promise to absolutely destroy the Klitschkos, nowhere near matched his capabilities and the results he produced in the end. It was embarrassing.

Sure, every fighter wants to make you believe they will win, but the manner in which Haye did it, makes him more guilty than the rest. He really did put his neck on the line with everything, and backed it up with nothing.

Yeah but without doing that he would never have got the fight. It's just trash talk. If people take it too seriously that's their stupidity/gullibility IMO. Doesn't make Haye a conman. Look at all the **** Mayorga talks.

    David Haye, go away!

You seriously have a talent for rhyming. Are you a rapper by any chance?

He would have got the fight much earlier if he wanted, but he certainly wouldn't have earned as much money. So first he had to convince the public that he was serious threat to Klitchko...
