Him and booth = most articulate and smart duo in the sport.

Haye goes to Germany and stays true to himself in an arena and room full of people that hate him, clamps bernard boente, punches chisora better than vitali did all night and nails chisoras trainer before leaving with:

    "that's 4 losses now" comment.

*obviously hitting booth with a tripod was not in the plan but he straight up went about handling his business.

Booth then adds salt to the wound calling boente a *****.

Both legends, both great for the sport and both dont give a ****.

David completely owned that fool. He was on ***** street after that overhand right landed.

Chisora was lucky his team was there to save him.

    I'm loving it!!!

You can say the sport is being brought into disrepute, but a proper rivalry is what fans are after!

It was quite funny, but a bit shameful. One thing we did learn was that Booth has a better chin than Haye, though.

How can he be great for the sport when he doesn't even participate in it? And sucker punching a guy who has just fought 12 rounds with the champion is just pitiful.

Respected has went up massively for both guys in the last few days, I like the way Haye conducts himself, and he stood his ground. Chisora added a lot of spice to the fight with Klit, and held his own showing a lot of heart in the ring. Got nailed by Haye after trying to intimidate him, was very satisfying to watch.

    Great for boxing?!? :blood

    He is extremely inactive.
    Only delivers with his mouth.
Had 3 stinkers in 4 HW titlefights.
Always has excuses why he didn't deliver on fightnight.
Expects to get the lion's share in fights in wich he's the challenger, or doesn't compete.

Don't think that's "great for boxing" :nono

Both guys were squaring up. One of those guys had walked 30 yards to confront the other. This same guy had removed his sweater as he walked those 30 yards. This same guy had also physically attacked and spat on two people on two seperate occassions in the previous 36 hours.

It's not sucker punching if the other guy is going to hit you. Del-boy showed enough madness in the past 2 days to make Haye think he was about to be assaulted.

That said, it was a great weekend for boxing. A good HW fight and tons of drama to draw in the casuals. Hopefully we'll see Chisora-Haye, Chisora-Wlad or Haye-Vitali soon.

I don't think he thought he was going to get insulted - I think he was just sore about the toe comment and the fact that Chisora showed up his pitiful effort vs. Wladimir by managing to push Vitali a bit. Still, the original question remains: how is Haye great for the sport when he isn't even participating?

A guy who shoots his mouth off, gets in the ring, runs and holds like a pansy, and blames his defeat on a broken pinky toe is good for boxing?

Del-boy was quoted as saying he would slap Haye well before last night so Haye was justified in defending himself given the circumstances and Chisora's behaviour over the past few days.

Without Haye's involvement last night, the fight would have been tucked away in the sports section of the BBC, but instead its on their front page. Like it or not, even bad publicity is good for boxing and Haye brings tons of it.
