And "Jaws" the James Bond villain loans him his mandibles!!. Seriously Freddie can only be of great assistance and I will be hoping that David can pull it off, but I doubt he will.
Haye is your typical British fighter. No Chin. No Heart. Mentally Weak. He ran from the slow and feather fisted Valuev for christ sakes. That is all I need to know about David Haye.
We Brits are very, very guilty of overhyping our fighters. We've only really had six true divisional champs in the past quarter century (Lewis, Calzaghe, honeyghan, Naz, Haye and Hatton. We certainly overrated Hatton (I was also guilty of that) and tend to gloss over Calzaghe's deficiencies in opposition, but we probably undersold Honeyghan and don't defend Naz's extraordinary talents and domination of a division enough. However, I don't think we're wrong about Haye. He's got the potential to be the true king in two divisions. He has great skill, power, reflexes and speed. The Valuev fight even showed strong signs that his once poor footwork is at least above average now. He'll beat Vitali, i'm certain. He'll be too elusive, I don't think Vitali cuts off the ring as well as he used to. Wladimir might be a little too disciplined, but we'll see. I'd still favour our man and believe he'll join Lewis as one of the the two UK greats of the past 25 years.
And this is a typical post by you. I'm sure you hate boxing, when your not getting off on how bad a fighters chin is your hating or talking ****.
Taras Bidenko, John Ruiz, Larry Donald and many others who arguably beat Valuev stood toe to toe with Valuev. Vitali wouldn't just stand there with him, he would stop him.
Typical British Fighter. Yeah he is. Ala Honeyghan, McGuigan, Lewis, Benn, Eubank, Calzaghe, Hatton , Froch, Cooper, even Bruno to name but a few. All cut from the same cloth. Guts, Style, Technical know how and bravery.
Actually to be honest. I reckon the the Klits need to fight the Prize Fighter Champ Audley Harrison first to see if they are good enough to stand in the same ring as the Hayemaker
They way he hit Valuev had to be up there with one of the greatest shots in the history of boxing :scaredas: :yep :smoke
There's a lot possible between standing toe to toe, and running a marathon while throwing only 140 punches in an entire fight.
