David Haye said Moses has a good chin as it was tested by a real puncher in Hrgovic. Haye sparred Hrgovic quite a bit back in the day.

I see more green flags than red flags with Moses from the last performance. It would become a red flag for me if it continued to be a recurring theme.

Fact is, he fought off emotion/anger/frustration/nervous energy and blew the gas tank early. That logically does not mean he has a bad gas tank. He did not pace himself just like David Haye said.

You can drive a sports car in sport mode and do 12 MPG and run out of fuel
quickly as you go for broke

Or get 30 mpg and get to your destinate with success. Moses chose option 1.

It is logical he had a bad gas tank. But I agree with you that Moses is very promising, & it is absurd to dismiss him as even likely damaged beyond repair, or even necessarily traumatized.

Fighting with that attitude contributed to the problem.
BUT many can do so & not entirely burn out.
Can you not see that never going 12 rounds-& seeming arrogance & having it too easy-means his endurace is now a marked deficit?

Yes he burned too much energy early.
But he should have also had & developed more reserves.

He said something really interesting about the 8th round, where Itauma went wild and try to get Hrgrovic out of there. He said the Itauma sensed the he was running out of gas and he desperately tried to knock out Hrgovic in that round because if the fight kept going, he would be out of gas. Round 8 was a round of desperation and round 9 was the end of the road.

Itauma need to get in touch with Haye and talk to him as much as possible. The man is full of wisdom because he went through the same journey.

I thought it was a bit screwy. He kept saying that this was going to be good for Itauma. We don't know that, and since he has said that he is not in love with boxing, I doubt it.
