I remember when David Haye first arrived on the scene that there was outrage that he was seemingly going to fast track his way to a Heavyweight title. That was clearly his intention but it didn't work out that way and as such his first three heavyweight bouts are Barrett, Valuev and Ruiz. Would anyone have too many complaints about his title shot being undeserved now? I would quite like to see him face a fellow "prospect" but I don't think that is a bad resume in all honesty (in terms of earning the shot).
Haye againts Adamek and it will be the end of Haye Hw career adamek has got so huge balls he is really tough guy
He earned his shot when he cleared up at Cruiser. The HW scene hasn't exactly been awash with talent for the past **** knows how long so why anyone would have a problem with him getting some big fights escapes me.
Look - let's not bit silly. I love David Haye but he is not the champ until he beats one of the K Brothers.
What the hell has Adamek done at HW other than beat a shot to **** Golota. He's not a bad fighter but he is massively overrated on here
Anybody who is a proven champion at a lower weight is deserving of a title shot at a higher weightclass, all the sanctioning bodies have rules stating that. Just because it's heavyweight doesn't change the logic. Both Haye and Adamek are good champions and deserving of a shot.
Haye is a title holder and i dont class him as the heavyweight champion. But, he beat Valuev who is effective if not spectacular, which should be counted as a good win. Barrett was 3-3 going into the fight and has since been beaten in better fashion and quicker by Solis. As for the Bonin, the fight was pretty atrocious match making, but Haye did what he had to do very well. Has he earned his shot at Wlad? No more than any other prospect at heavy imo.
Nothing against haye , but the truth is the wba belt should belong to wladimir who beat chagaev , seriously i cant count that joke of a belt as d legitimate championship
Not sure how you could become 'the champion' by beating one of two people. That actually makes no sense at all.
i dont understand why he gets slated for only having 2 fights then a title shot, think of the amount of fighters that have cleaned out divisions then step up in weight, they dont have to start again when they reacht hat weight why is this different for haye?
