Never said that. He should make money but when the champion is willing to come into your own backyard for a fight and an optional one at that he should not complain.

Nobody is saying Haye should get peanuts but he should not get 50% or anything close to that either. 30% would be the most he should receive. I am betting that that would be his biggest payday by far.

  2. I'm still not buying this... We were only intrested because of the stadium BS.... If he's bothered so much about that, why doesn't he fight at the Allianz Arena in Germany or something :huh

  3. I explained why, read the bottom of the post.

Chelsea is owned by a very famous Russian billionaire called Roman Abramovic... and means Chelsea is very popular in Russia and the Ukraine

listen.. Wlad comes to the table with A,B,C,D...

Haye comes to the table with A,B,C,D........

They make a deal based on who brings in what and where and how much..in the pot.......GREAT.

    Haye cant deliver A,B,C,D.....

Fight falls apart and the negotiations need to start over...:deal

its not just the venue... get over the venue problem already

how many times do I have to say it.....
    Chelsea stadium was Haye's Idea

  8. Sorry don't buy it.

First of all Haye has a contract with the O2..... Second of all Stamford Bridge seems a very strange choice for a venue, as it has never been used for anything but a football stadium.

Imo it was chosen because Chelsea are very popular with the Russians and the Ukranians.

Ask Wlad if he knows Roman Abramovich.... I'm sure there pretty good friends:good

At the end of the day, if the title of this thread is true, then maximum respect goes to haye and wlad. Haye didnt have to step out of the cruiserweights and he is going straight in for the best in the division. wlad didnt have to take on an undisputed champ all be it in a lower division. So on that basis nobody surely can complain as the heavyweight division is absolutly **** at the moment. With hayes outspoken personality it should make the heavyweight division much better and i cant think of a heavyweight fight that id reather see than haye vs wladimir or vitali.

think what you want. I know the stadium was Haye. he was going to bring to the table. He failed... but there are more issues then the stadium.... why you so fixated on the stadium?

  11. Because, thats what Wlad and his teams were only intrested in... Apparently they only wanted to fight becuase they wanted the Chelsea staduim... Just sounds strange to me, That a fighter is more intrested in a venue than the actual challenge :huh

If he wants a stadium so much i'm sure that I could get my local athletics stadium which holds 5,000 to stage the event :D

    wrong again.
the purse was based on what Haye and Wlad brought to the table. Haye couldnt deliver what he said he could and that is the bottom line. Whatever stadium or stadiums Haye said he had... he didnt, nor the O2.. he didnt have anything secured like he said he did. when they asked to see a confermation of the things Haye said he could bring to the table... he couldn't do it....
    Time to renegotiate :good

Well, I have heard that things change from time to time with the negotiations. Probably just a rumor though. :D
