David Haye "He was the better man no excuses i gave everything but he stayed up"

Agreed Haye was wild in the 1st round, but after that he settled down. Bellew was very wary of Haye's power as he should be. Haye started using the jab more and seemed in control. Bellew's chances to hurt Haye was with counter punches, or possibly one two inside of Haye's wide punches. Bellew (before the injury) I do remember landed a few nice counters but they didn’t seem to bother Haye. Haye does have really good punch resistance, and I do think Haye was on his way to victory if not for the injury. That said, Not taking anything away from Bellew, he was game and definitely fought a smart fight.
