He took the boot off to show Sky and then went straight on to do an interview with HBO.

I noticed the wincing thing before, but I don't think that it could have caused a lot of damage (if his foot was stepped upon).

agreed - he makes excuses but then again he clearly did break his hand against Valuev, and he did get cut in sparring..... etc my only point is there are good excuses and bad excuses and then really bad excuses

Oh puh-leeeeze. Just watch the fight. Haye was literally dancing on his toes, right through the 12th round. There is no chance in Hell that his toe was bothering him. It's incredibly obvious and not worth any more discussion.

Haye's a bigger biatch than Dirrell. End of story.

Even David Haye is surprised at your stupidity. Who the **** cares about the new shirt design? That was clearly a typo, or they are describing it to the viewer, as you do in pictures. If looking at that shirt it is to MY RIGHT, but it would be on the LEFT of the person wearing it. WATCH THE VIDEO! James Thompson is on Haye's left. That isn't a mirror image shithead, it's live video. Do right handed fighters look like they are fighting southpaw to you in the ring? I can't believe that I am actually in a debate with someone who doesn't know right from left. This is a new low for ESB.

Did you see the yellow toe in the second video? - wouldn't that bother you at all?

you are right - the link is wrong - when Haye turns his back you can see the writing on his back "Haymaker" and unless its in Hebrew.....

I had something similar happen to me, except it was all 5 of my toes, not just my pinky. It took 4!!! Novocaine shots to calm down the pain in the big toe, the rest were fine with one. And I am telling you, those shots are as unpleasant as it gets, as it is extremely uncomfortable, but I DIDN'T EVEN FEEL MY PINKY TOE. It was tucked away and bandaged and I didn't feel a thing 2 seconds after the shot. My big toe on the other hand took almost 2 months to heal and I couldn't rest the full weight of my body on my right foot without grimacing in pain for another month after that.

Now, I wasn't fighting the best heavyweight of my era. But I know what he went through. With a painkiller shot + bandage taping the toe to the one next to it should have all but taken care of it.

The only thing I do notice in the video is that Haye doesn't really look like a guy coming to fight. He looks more like a contender on the x-factor than one for the HW title.

"take your face for a shite"???? - lol

Like i said it was embarrassing and i agree its an excuse, There is no way for Haye to come out of all of this well and he doesn't deserve to, am pretty sure i made that clear - I was just surprised at the sight of the toe a few days later that's all

Ali fights with a broken jaw, Morales one eye, and Haye complains of his toe? Champions do whatever it takes to win and overcome obstacles. If the toe really was a problem, why didnt he mention it between rounds? I dont buy it.

F*ck the interview with Haye is pathetic. I really wish I had skipped that.
