Absolutly ****ing ridiculous, we can have polls saying JMM is an ATG but Haye can't even make the HOF? get the **** out of here with that bull****.

Wladimir has a full list of valid opponents he beat. And the thing is, it's not a single opponent that makes you HOF, it's domination of a division, which clearly Wlad has. Haye's wins at HW are worse than Adamek's, worse than Eddie Chambers's, worse than Povetkin's. He really hasn't fought no one yet.

Klits could very very easily annoy Haye either into retireing with a zero resume, or making him prolong his career. If the Klits were *******s, they'd easily do that, because Haye has been an absolute disgrace all this time.

    but JMM is an ATG

i think there's an argument for Haye being in the HOF but you gotta MAKE the argument

    No, but with the possibility

    At Cruiser

the good beat holder Fragomeni, beat Ring champ Mormeck (best career win)

the bad only career loss to thompson and a win that was considered huge in maccarinelli has basically become totally eroded

    heavyweight

the good beat Valuev to gain a titl, beat former champ Ruiz, beat Medalist Harrison

the bad the Valuev fight was terrible and the boringness was his fault, Ruiz gets more credit for his heart then Haye gets for his win also he had many opportunities to get him out early and showed he is a poor fighter wit ha hard punch but no finishing ability, and Harrison was totally undeserving and was more of a marketing technique

overal he does not have enough fights, his cruiser reign was way too short and empty of tough fighters and at heavyweight its been failed expectations a lot of talk but no action

To get in he would have to beat a Klitschko or both Klitschkos

JuanMa is 100% ATG. Check the resume yo. Juan accomplished more in this sport by age 26 than Haye has now!

I think a great matchup for Haye would be Arreola. of course he'd never fight Cristobal because the burrito grease would come through Chris's gloves to burn Haye's grill in to submission. I think it would be the perfect opportunity for fatboy Arreola to getoff on somebody. But Haye would never do it.

I'd prefer Haye /Peter. Arreola not fast enough to catch him. Neither is Peter but if he got haye close to the ropes he cold catch him with his wide punches while Haye tries to escape.

I'd say he deserves a spot in the hall if he beats even 1 of the brothers.

That ain't happening though & he's not worthy based on what he's done so far.

You have to allow some margin for accidental clicks.

yes, and actually quite easily. Arturo ****ing Gatti is going to get into the Hall, David Haye is going to waltz in because of his unification of the belts at Cruiser, his wins over Mormeck, Fragomeni, and Maccrenelli.

add in him winning the strap at Heavyweight and he is going to get in.

    Hall of "Fame."

Yes he should go straight in. He's a big personality in the UK, even getting nominated for a national sporting personality award he shouldn't have been nominated for (especially when Amir Khan, Car Froch and even Ricky Burns didn't get nominated.)

Here is the litmus test for issue.

    Barry McGuigan.

I'll state for the record that I am neither a big Haye fan or a big Haye hater.

Why do Haye huggers repeat this falsehood? When did Haye unify the belts at CW? This is even worse than saying Haye "cleaned out" CW, which he clearly did not do. Furthermore, many of Haye's biggest wins at CW are being re-evaluated in light of the fact that all his big opponents fizzled out and did nothing at CW, after they lost to him

I agree but let me add that Vitali is HOF bound simply because he's one half of the only 2 brothers to hold portions of the Heavyweight Title at the same time in the history of the sport.

Combine that with the fact that he's the only Heavyweight to ever return after retiring for almost 4 years, without a tuneup, and win a belt. That belt is the WBC and he was the first to knockout Peter as well, who was ranked #2 in the world at the time. That's the more significant reason IMO. He also has successful defenses, including mandatory defenses, so it wasn't some fluke.

No legacy, no good wins over solid prime fighters, no place in Canastota
