David Haye holds signings in Manchester and Birmingham on Saturday (Sept 25)

Boxing fans in the Manchester/Birmingham area might be interested in this...

WBA world heavyweight champion David Haye will touch down in Manchester and Birmingham this Saturday (September 25) to further publicise volume one of his official Hayemaker bookazine. The boxer will be on hand in Selfridges (Trafford Centre) in Manchester at mid-day (12 pm) and will then travel to Selfridges (The Bullring) in Birmingham for a 5pm signing in the Midlands.

“It's great to be able to visit another two major cities and do some more signings,” explained Haye, set to face Audley Harrison in Manchester on November 13. “I did my first signing in London's Selfridges and the idea went down a storm. I was signing copies of the bookazine non-stop for about an hour and a half and must have got through thousands in total.”

Haye will defend his world heavyweight title against Harrison at Manchester's M.E.N.Arena, and hopes the city will once again come out in force to support him. With 17,000 tickets for the 'Best of Enemies' event already sold, Haye expects plenty of support from both Manchester and Birmingham on November 13.

“They're both great fighting cities with a rich tradition, and I always look forward to watching fights in both cities,” said Haye. “I watched the Magnificent Seven show in Birmingham last weekend and I'm looking forward to returning to Manchester in November to once again fight in front of the city's terrific fans. Tickets for the fight are selling out in record time and the fight is now without doubt the must-see event of 2010.”

Well he's giving it all the chat ahoy being at selfriges and being in 2 large major cities...what's the bets he doesent bother with these two major cities and instead rocks up somewhere like hemel Hempstead...somewhere totally undeserving of the coverage and attention...
