    Exactly Vanos.

31 years of age, not a scratch in him, facultys in-tact, millions in the bank.

As much as i would of liked to of seen him fight, he has got everything in his favour of an early and healthy retirement.

It's easier said than done when we say that we wouldn't retire.

Hell, i'd of been gone after £3/5 mill! Lol

I for one am happy to see a boxer retire having achieved his goals, with his faculties intact and a load of money in the bank. There are too many fighters who end up punch drunk and penniless. We might think he could have achieved more but he unified one division and stepped up to claim a title in another, that's more than most manage to do. The way in which he finished may leave a sour taste in the mouth but he has stuck to his word and I hope that he never climbs through the ropes again.

He has made his money and won a fair few titles as a fighter.Id like to see him have a few more fights but can understand why he wants to quit.

He made his 'corn' Cheers Bruno. He has no reason to fight, but he'll be forever known as a loud mouthed **** who couldn't back it up.

30 mill though so Ssuppose he can live with that

I'm surprised that anyone wants him to carry on boxing, especially fellow Brits.
He's really hard to tolerate. 3 of his last 4 fights were diabolical stinkers, and all the childish **** he talked was embarrassing.

He made a hell of a lot of money for doing very very little (by the standards of world class superstar fighters).
I mean, he's probably made more money than any British HW barring Lennox Lewis (more than Bruno, I'm guessing, and that's a lot). What he actually did in the ring to acquire that money was FAR less than those two, and probably rates outside the top 10 Brit HWs of all-time (and we've been historically very weak in the big division).

David Haye achieved what he wanted to do, therefore, he has nothing else to prove to himself. Yeah Haye had us over in the Wladimir fight, but what's new in Boxing!

If I was Haye i'd do the same and leave with my health intact. He can't beat the brothers, so there is no point in Haye staying in the game.

I'd like to see a Brit top 10 list that doesn't include Haye.

agree with all apart from maybe the last seentence, i still think its more of a case of wont beat them then cant beat them, i think he has the tools, but, seeing as his hearts not in boxing anymore, i cant see him using them to beat vitali or wlad
