BlackBrenny, take a look at the number of people who say he's gonna knock out Fury in 3 or 4 rounds if they fight.A man who admittedly is less experienced but almost 10 years younger but far taller and heavier.

What is this bollocks about valuev beating haye, seriously?!

Sure he probably isn't as good as people think but no need to talk shite and imply he lost a fight despite not being hit once...

Haye is a talented boxer, probably not as good as people think, but realistically he's a cruiserweight..

I definitely rate him over the likes of Povetkin and Pulev.

Put it like this, if you were betting man and Haye for them 2, who would your money be on?

I think he's the best heavyweight minus the Klits.

I thought his performance against Valuev was poor. Terrible fight all round. Not a fight to boast about.

Haye at HW hasn't done much. He still beats Fury though.

As a boxer - he is very good.

As a cruiserweight boxer - he is exceptional.

As a heavyweight boxer - he is average.

For me, Haye was always more of a "potential" than a "is" at Heavyweight.. If he picks his god damn game up and fights 2-3 times a year for the next 2 years, we may get somewhere. He has potential to beat anybody in the current climate, bar perhaps Wlad, who I'd say he could even topple if he wasn't scared to throw.

As is he's average as a Heavy. He hasn't beaten any GREAT competition, but the competition he has beat he did so convincingly, except for Valuev which was close.

Average with the potential to be "Top 10 British"

Where are all the posters who have gone on and on about how the guy with one fight in two years was being ducked (as if he had earned a second title fight) and how he'd outclass Vitali, etc?

Where did they go? Most of these posts seem reasonable, whereas I've seen maybe hundreds on the Brit forum put him on the highest pedestal.

You're right, everyone seems quite level headed. I posted this thread to give those who think he's a great to tell us why.

His record shows that he is probably the 2nd best Cruiserweight in history. Fast boxer puncher. Pretty sure he will stop Tyson Fury.

Based on two title fights against the legendary Enzo and Mormeck?

Good fighter good speed and power but has avoided the best fighters at his weight classes... He was good at cruiserweight but there were guys like cunningham he avoided.

wasted his best years chasing the wlad fight rather than fighting and then was poor against Wlad and made it worse with his excuses after the fight

and if they fought id pick haye over fury if USS can land that big shot haye will look to land it and close the show

I think you can look at like this he has good power, good boxing skills and has really good charisma that's why he sells himself, his fights and makes people like him or hate him want to fight him. That's why he will get the big fights he wants when he fights a bit more regular. Looks like he will face Tyson Fury.

I have seen little to no proof that this is actually the case

Most Brit boxing fans dislike his inactivity

Most Brits boxing fans are happy to concede he was easily handled by Vlad

Most Brit boxing fans feel he beats most HWs outside of the Klits

Thats the reality I would say
