Honestly, I think Vitali would give Haye 50/50 just so he could beat Haye down in front of millions of viewers.

Ok, I see where you're coming from. I thought you meant you would miss a fight purely out of principle despite wanting to see it, rather than just growing disillusioned with it.

Yes - Haye's showing in what should have been his career defining fight is an insult to the memory of the man in your avatar.

If he didn't come up against the mighty K2 PR campaign, more fans would understand that Haye has done the right thing for boxing, time and time again.

Wlad didn't accept less money to make the Haye fight and nor will Vitali. Neither brother has made a serious attempt to fight Toney, Tua, Povetkin, Valuev or more, simply because of the financial aspect. The brothers would rather not fight the best opposition than pay them a bit more money, as we saw perfectly when Valuev was offered a sum, rejected it because it was low and then Vitali countered with an even lower offer.

Had Haye been stubborn, he didn't need to accept the Wlad fight. Wlad made, what £15m and yet his biggest contract is with RTL who pay him 3m Euros per fight, so where did the extra money come from? At best, Wlad makes £5m per fight whereas Haye made tens of millions for each fight regardless of opposition. Haye didn't need to accept less money and yet he did.

He's doing so again, which is a great thing for fans but if Haye ever asked for more than what he was worth, it'd be flat out rejected and the fight wouldn't happen.

Like I said though, the Klitschkos PR machine works. K2 can do nothing wrong and yet Haye, Povetkin, Valuev, Toney etc., all didn't want the fight....right? Yeah, that's logical. Look at the long list of fighters who have had issues with K2 and honestly tell me one promoter who even compares to that. There isn't one.

As for this, I'm glad Haye will take less money to make fights happen. If there is one thing K2 have proven over the years, it's that they aren't willing to bend in order to give the fans what they want.

Sounds like Haye wants the fight.

Would like to see Haye win. Would be the end of an era starting a new one.. maybe..

I respect the Klitschkos for their professionalism and business like mentality. ATG? ive never said that. dont confuse me with their fan boys . They dont come into the ring fat, they dont beat up their wives/girlfriends, they dont preach god every 5 minutes, they dont say "thats up to my managers and promoter who i will fight next". I think the mormeck fight is a giant joke. i knew the vitali-adamek fight was gonna be the mismatch it was. Blame the heavyweight division for Mormeck even getting a title shot or ray austin and bermain stevens fightin eliminators....they would have been regular main eventers (maybe) in the 1990s on USA Tuesday Night Fights.
So if I have more respect for Wladimir Klitschko than a guy who has 2 cruiserweight title wins than so be it. You would have thought Haye is the guy with over 20 world title fights with his big mouth. I was gonna give Haye a little credit after his fight for simply getting into the ring...then his *** toe excuse ruined that for me....

So many glass posters. I really need to find a slick black forum where I don't have to put up with this bull****.

I'm going to stay until March though. All Klit fans are shameless johnny-come-lately glory-hunters. You watch though, onces Haye - with a fully healed toe - decapitates Vitali, this will be Bremen, Bretchko and Black Rayne: "I'm sorry, I didn't truly realise how slick and black Haye was. I'm a Haye fan now!"

    Pathetic individuals.
