That is true. A LOT of American fight fans want to see an exciting champion.

I'm not sure what segment Haye is trying to appeal to using these low selling tactics, particularly since the fight is a sell-out and will be aired live everywhere anyway. It certainly doesn't make him more popular with me.

I think the t-shirts were a bit close to the bone..for me anyway. I can see why he did it trying to get a fight, but it seemed unneccessary the second time around.

Trash talk never hurt anybody, though.

I cant understand this, why would a grown man be so offended by an opponent wearing a t shirt of him beheaded?

If I saw a guy with a picture of my brother with his head cut off on his t-shirt I wouldn't be too pleased. I can see where Wlad is coming from. It wasn't really neccessary, talk is enough.

So why did Haye wear it? :huh
Obviously not to get any attention or get under anyone's skin. Right? :blood

Monstar shut up I wasn't making this into an American/British debate I was asking why its ok for some to trash talk yet its not for others to do it, and come on you MUST wish you had a fighter in the worlds most prestigious weight class who is causing such a stir as David Haye is ? Quit with the war **** too. it was hundreds of years ago and your country is about 8 times the size of ours

Yes, but is Waldo that insecure and fragile that he gets offended by it?

Haye is mildly entertaining. However, trash talking is much funnier when someone like Mayorga or Toney does it...because simply put, Mayorga and Toney are clever. Haye isn't really a clever guy.
