David Haye .. Ideal 1st proper heavy opponent

    I'd be amazed if Sprott earns significant money ever again, considering his "performance" in the Skelton fight.

    He should fight a journeyman and then a someone like Rahman.

    I agree.... but the man had a 15 Ranking in the WBC. Now hes like 60 after Haye beat him. So yes, he WAS top ranked if you want to get techincal. Even tho he didnt deserve it.

    Well this is gonna sound very Frank Warren-ish but the best way for Haye to go is probably this:

    1. Fight a few small heavyweights (nobody over 220) and climb the
    ranks of the sanctioning bodies. Make sure they have no power.

    2. Knock these guys out and tell everyone that will listen that you're a
    bonafide heavyweight even though u haven't beaten anyone.

    3. Fight a beatable top 10-15 guy, beat him, and get a title shot. Kali
    Meehan or Samil Sam fit the bill.

    4. Fight for a belt.

    a heavyweight with a dicey chin that haye can splat on the canvas. :yep

    perfect preparation for wladimir klitschko. :lol:
