Only because he had more power than Usyk, plus Chisora held Usyk`s arm for the first 6 rounds of their fight and then dominated the second half of that fight.

What he meant to say was he would have signed deals to fight everybody today, then backed out of all of them with a training injury. Then he would fight some scrub in a tune-up, and repeat the process.

David Haye: "In my mind, I would have beaten everybody today"

In his mind, maybe because he certainly wouldn't have done it in the ring.

He injures himself or his big toe and uses it as an excuse right before or after the following fights:
    1. Joshua
    2. Wilder
    3. Fury
    4. Usyk
    5. Joyce
    6. Parker
    7. Dubois
    8. Yoka

"Beating Enzo was arguably as big as some of Usyks CW wins"

On par with a washed up Huck or Mchunu at best.

Haye went life and death with Mormeck, who turned out to be Wlad's worst championship opponent just over 4 years later.

Fragomeni gave Haye a very tough fight and went 0-2-1 (both losses by stoppage) with Wlodarczyk, with the draw being in Italy.

Like Enzo, Gurov had a very weak chin at that level and was thus tailor made for a puncher like Haye.

John Ruiz and Valuev were in their final career fights and neither were on good form. Ruiz gave Haye a tougher than expected fight and Haye eked out a decision over Valuev in Germany, when considering Germany's reputation at the time Haye needed to do more to guarantee the win. Showed a lack of confidence and skill.

On jelly legs against blown-up SMW journeyman non-puncher Lolenga Mock, rugby tackled him to recover and got a British stoppage to win.

Stopped by 40+ former LHW Carl Thompson in 5.

Beaten wide on the cards by Wlad, never went for it for fear of being KO'd, in survival mode the whole fight having hyped himself up to no end.

Prime has a lot of subjectivity attached to it but he beat a fresh Chisora in impressive fashion no doubt, although Haye was being taken into deep waters. Chisora hasn't fought a known puncher since.

In my mind I am unified heavyweight champ too. Thinking it unfortunately does not make it so.

He must of found out how much moneys in the game now and wants to keep his name relevant. Bet he jealous of Joshua & Fury. His biggest purse (and last) was £15 million against Wlad - that soon got spent/taxed.

Haye was a bum, tramp, toe excuse maker.

    He will never be remembered.

    Prime Chisora

Can we please just stop with this Chisora talk it's getting so sad. Let the man get KO'd by Wilder and we all know Wilder would spark Haye, Fury would rough him up, Usyk would spank him, Vitali would spank him fresh off his couch. etc etc

At his peak he would definitely have had a shot due to his punching power, speed and athleticism but they could definitely knock him out as well. Would be wild and fun.

Depends on how you view it
I think it was bigger than that as at the time Enzo was WBO champ and on a good run
He was in his prime and not long previously beaten world rated Braithwaite

He suffered a KD. He was struggling with the weight, but I didn't see him go life and death at all
As for a former CW just being an opponent to a dominant world champ at HW, 5 years later, I'm not sure what point you are trying to make?
Prime Chisora was considered just an opponent to Haye, when Haye stopped him, but some on here have posted how close they thought Usyk/Chisora was. Is that what you consider life and death as that went 12 rounds?
    I don't btw
    ???
Chisora lost his next 2 fights after Usyk
Hunter has had a couple of draws since
Glowacki has suffered a couple of stoppage losses after going the distance with Usyk

    What is your point?
All fights are different and doesn't take away anything from the wins at the time

Yet were on decent runs up to facing Haye

So was Bellew when Usyk fought him?

Valuev was a reigning champion, 50-1 and 5-1 in world title fights

That is just based on your opinion
Could argue Haye boxed to a plan

This does seem like you are reaching a bit when trying to make something big out of something like Hayes 6th/7th fight

    Can happen
Thompson was world rated and a massive puncher
The towel was thrown in, haye was still calling Thompson in
    Not disputing that

Edit(Although I thought Usyk clearly outpointed Joshua, I didn't think Usyk really went for it with Joshua. He looked to me like he was looking to build points, except for maybe the last 30 seconds of the fight and Haye looked like he went for it more in the 12th round of his fight against Wladimir) Edit end

I agree, prime is subjective and often used to suit a debate, but it is the only fight before Haye came out of retirement where he has a common opponent to Usyk (Bellew was after he came back)
What happened that makes you think Haye was being taken into deep waters? He stopped Chisora in 5 rounds and could be argued that he had won the previous 4
