im british and think david haye is a very very good fighter but if he thinks his legacy is done and he can retire this year without fighting klitschko he is a ****ing dumbass how is beating a monte barret who cant even get into the ring without making an ass of himself an accomplishment how is beating an over the hill ruiz who came to england to fight an accomplishment and on numberous times rtabbit punching him how is beating fraudley chicken **** harrison an accomplishment who was so scared he wouldnt throw a punch and so ****ing delusional he believed it was his destiny to win how is running like hell from slow ass valuev who was also 2 years beind david an accomplishment and barely even winning the fight david haye has the tools more than anyone else to beat the klitschkos, but ****ing hell he needs to just stfu and fight haye is the equivilant of toney thinking he's a relevent figure in ufc when they using him punch drunk ass for money and to make a mockery of him toney is great in boxing not ufc haye is great unless a klitschko is mentioned
Bad threads are certainly "numberous" on here, but this is one of the worst of the day. Great article.
Is he just an idiot or is he mentally ******ed, that is the question!? Add up all his lies and empty boasts and it suggests possible ******ation or moron level type intelligence. I would put his IQ around the 60-70 mark. Moron basically.
Haye ain't got no legacy. I believe he gots what it takes to give either Klit a good scrap, but he can't just retire without fightiing one of them. At least fight Povetkin.
I don't see why guys think this dude has skill. adequate fighter? Most of the time. Champion? No! Not in this lifetime!
You are joking right? You must be blind if you can't see the tremendous skill set Floyd has. The guy is a *****, but when it comes to boxing he is truely amazing.
He isn't interested in legacy. He's happy to retire with a few million in the bank and his marbles intact. Which is fair enough. I remember in an interview he said sometimes he has trouble remembering his pin number, so I don't blame him for not wanting to get out before it's too late. That said, I'm pissed off he used the Klitchko brothers to make himself into a marquee name and hasn't delivered. As the belt holder, not the champion, he should have been bending over to get the fight with Wlad--if that's what he really wanted--and Haye just hasn't done that. Boxing is a business and he's been a smart business to maximise his money and minimise the risks, but the result his he'll have no legacy. Relaxing by the pool with lots of zeroes in his bank account, he probably won't care too much about that. And let's face it, neither would we.
Haye doesn't really give a **** about legacy, he's a businessman first and in that sense he's steered his career brilliantly. However you're being far too harsh. Barret was his first serious fight at HW, not bad but what do you expect for a debut? Ruiz was written into the Valuev contract, do your research. He broke his right hand in round 2 against Valuev. When you lose your main weapon so early and have to depend on your weaker hand for 10 rounds it's obviously not going to be explosive is it?
Yup. but comparing Haye to Floyd is absurd. PBF has only ducked Pac, but beaten dozen of other top 10s, whereas Haye has beaten 1 top ten who happens to have been a 326lb lumbering loaf.
