If David was who he says he is, he would take the Holyfield- route to the heavyweight championship of the world.

He would get in line, get his competition out the way and fight the champion on the champions demands.

Wladimir is the champion, David Haye is not even mandatory, how does it make sense for David to have the fight in his back yard, under HIS demands?

    I mean come on now..........

    Why?

Because Briggs is on your show yapping about Wladimir now that he's gone missing from the scene? He wants to cash out one final time?

And you bash Wladimir for his fight with Ibragimov, look at the fight between Liakhovich vs. Briggs and come back here.:tired

He can demand what he feels is a fair deal IMO.From what I have read, that is what has occured and Wlad has included some crazy clauses

Most of us do, except for the Wlad nuthuggers that flood ESB. Haye just has too much going for him, he kinda reminds me a bit of Ruddick, with all the talent he has in his arsenal, I just hope his career turns out better.

Anyone who fights Iggy gets bashed...he's like a non-rulebreaking version of Ruiz, who knows how to box.

I was referring to Wlad's fake image, nothing to do with Shannon.

the problem is Haye could deliver A,B,C, and D to the table. When the time came to get confirmations of what he said he could deliver, HE COULDN'T do it.

    how is that on Wlad

That was between Wlad and Haye... What you think they are the only fighter ever to hype a fight?

If you believed me then, believe me now.. this fight is in trouble

    Settle down.

Read back to what I said and what you quoted...I was discussing how Wlad operates, nothing to do with Briggs or the Briggs situation.

The Briggs thing involves Finkel. That's not what I was talking about with Magic, I was telling him that WLAd does things that are contrary to his image.

Guys there is NO BRIGGS SITUATION. Negotiations take place and fall apart all of the time. Briggs sure as hell wasn't in any position to be ducked by Wladimir Klitschko when that fight was being negotiated. Calvin Brock was an undefeated top contender touted as the best Contender in America. A much better fight than Shannon Briggs. If Shannon Briggs thought that he had a verbal agreement and then the fight didn't materialize... what's the big deal? Shannon was pissed because he wanted the payday. Just like Briggs is still searching for another payday. He even admitted that he isnt even interested in proving himself.

He couldn't deliver a signature on a contract that proposed 2 rematches and that he dropped the belts in order to fit the rematches in.
