Starting with Barrett. The same Barrett who lost a UD to Rahman, lost to Joe Mesi, Wlad knocked him down seven times, and he was knocked the **** out by Cliff Couser. Oh well at least he beat Cliff Couser in the rematch! :patsch

Honestly? Haye doesn't need to face anyone too good yet or he will get KTFO. Give him a chance to learn how to handle a heavyweight, and then let him figure it out.

Don't root for him to fail.

I hate him, honestly. He set himself up for failure just like Fraudley.

He said it would be a top ten ranked opponent and it is!
What do you want from him?
Considering all pull-outs Barrett isn't too bad. Certainly better than Johnson and Chapman.
The Heavyweights aren't that deep you know.

I was hoping for a tournament involving Ray Mercer, Riddick Bowe, Tommy Morrisson and Iran Barkley, the winner to face Haye in November, but whatever - Barrett is alright I guess...

you'd rather him face a top 10 immediately? He's gotta work his way into the division like everyone else. I'm pretty confident his next opponent will be a better pick.

well not really top 10. the only org that has Barrett in the top 10 is the WBO (at #9) . The other orgs don't even have him in their top15.

But still he is coming off a big win, so that counts for something

Top 10 ranked by whom, WWE ????

    P.S

I actually prefer Barret over the Chapmans of the world.

    Ranked 6 by WBO
Not the most prestigious belt but it is one of the belts held by Klitschko.

Well don't forget that Haye was totally against a fight with Barrett. This fight is not what he wanted. He was after a legitimate top 10 heavyweight, like Maskaev, but their camps decided it was not worth the risk. I feel for Haye because it must have been frustrating with so many people avoiding him and then even pulling out. So even though Barrett wasn't his first choice, it's good that he's finally found an opponent.

Haye should knock him out in three or four rounds.

I guess Haye stood by his promise then, although Barret should not have been even near such high ranking.
