That's the mistake people are making when predicting how Hayes going to fight against Valuev. He's not reckless anymore. Watch the fight with Mormeck. There's very obviously a strategy at work there. I think his corner were even counting the power punches so he didn't gas too early.
You'll have a similar approach to the Valuev fight.

I think if Haye comes out sensibly, unlike the Barrett fight where he was over eager to impress and was the sloppiest I ever saw him, he will be able to work the angles and land almost at will.

If he does, he will eventually stop the big guy, on facial damage at least.

David Haye just bailed out of two of the biggest heavyweight fights of recent history...Vlad/Haye was 60,000 seats and Vitali/Haye was 55,000 seats. These were huge in terms of fan attendance, yet he turned tail and bailed. He is not the heavyweight savior. I seriously doubt he will look good against Valuev, no one really has looked "good" against him. The tiny inexperienced cruiserweight might possibly be able to decision the giant if he has a really good day. But most likely he will shoot his cruiser load early and Valuev will plod to an uninspiring decision over the undersized and exhausted phony named Haye. So far Haye has inspired his fans with his big boasts, but has done absolutely nothing to back up any of his talk, and so far has run from every real challenge offered him.

What's the problem? The Klits can fill these stadiums without David Haye can't they? He's done nothing at HW remember so he doesn't deserve a shot at the real HW champs.

Haye better wins this fight impressively cause if he wins like say barely or just close then it proofs he don't deserve a shot at either Klitshckos.

It's hilarious how Brits think this is a foregone conclusion. They have talked themselves into believing that Haye is so good that he will batter the giant into submission in a few rounds. Don't be surprised if Haye gets KTFO by the lumbering giant if he doesn't get conveniently injured before the fight.

Who else has/could beat Valuev impressivley? I can't think of many......guess the Klits won't be making many more defences using that logic.

It's pretty simple. Us BRITS have seen more of David Haye and know a lot more about his style than a few fights on YouTube and hype that is designed to sell fights. Go watch the guy without bias and you might see something that justifies the confidence people have in him.

I hope Haye beats the crap out of Valuev. I just hope Haye doesn´t gas himself out or anything. We need Valuev out of the sport with his bad performances, boring fights and gift decisions.

I saw the Haye-Barrett fight and I saw the Valuev-Barrett fight. Barrett was scared as hell against Valuev and really got clocked and legitimately stopped.
Against Haye, he wasn't afraid and didn't take any monster hits but was stopped by the British ref.
I may be wrong but Dave could be in for a BIG surprise.

Maybe ask Barrett who has more power?

I agree. Hell anyone other then Ruiz is a bad choice for Valuev:yep. I do think Haye should win, BUT I wont be shocked if Valuev gets him in the later rounds if Haye starts to gas

Then you would have seen Barrett hit the canvas rather than take another shot after a grazing uppercut. The short left hook that finished the fight was something else and would have KO'd less game fighters than Monte. Monte Barrett got a lot of respect that night from British fans cause he was so up for it. He was on a winning streak remember. Unfortunately for him, he couldn't get near Haye and was made to look bad.
The ref stopped him from getting more hurt than was necessary as any good refs should.
