After all that has transpired with Haye i now believe in the rumour that Vit grabbed him by the throat behind the scenes for that T-Shirt.
A clear trolling thread but here's what I think. He's definitely not an ATG yet but does have ATG courage, hope to see more of it successfully. Voted "On a good track".
If you want to step in the ring and spar with David the chicken I'm sure I can arrange it at his gym?
Yeah all these dudes are ATGs: Wladimir Klitschko Corrie Sanders Lamon Brewster Vitali Klitshcko David Haye Shannon Briggs Nikolai Valuev Samuel Peter Andrew Golota Michael Grant Tomasz Adamek Ross Puritty Ruslan Chagaev Jameel McCline Chris Byrd John Ruiz The list is never ending. It all depends upon the yardstick. Using the ESB measurement then a bunch of average athletes are propped as ATGs. Using the proper one then NONE of these guys are even close. This is one of the only sports where the guys at the top today are generally bigger then ever but they aren't the most talented athletes with size on the planet - they are merely the ones boxing. These are the war years - when only the weak sisters took up boxing - the great athletes are all competing elsewhere. The proof is in the number of ex-cruisers competing and the longevity of the past champions who hang around while collecting social security. A ridiculously bad era of lower level athletes competing in virtual anonymity (as one would expect). You'd have to have a country full of near pedestrian athletic talent to find any interest in watching these slow footed, slow handed, limited guys in action (lol). So, yeah David Haye is definitely in the mix. In the multi-decade plus trend of declining interest in boxing, the fall has reached the point where ex-cruiser Haye (whom no one will confuse with Evander Holyfield) is one of the best heavyweights in today's world (the talent pool and competitive level is undeniably that pathetic). There aren't too many (any) sports where the best fighter from the mid to late 60s would still undoubtedly dominate in 2010 (regardless of the steroids, sport medicine/science, training methodologies, nutrition, standards of living, etc., etc.). If you want to go out and party don't bring a bunch of this era's heavyweights to the club. In a brawl, they'd get their asses handed to them by hundreds of larger professional athletes with far superior coordination, agility, skills, and mental/physical toughness. :guitar Don't know about top ten though for David Haye .. maybe if you line up your other greats we can figure it out - do you have Cornelius Johannes Sanders above or below the Klits?
