I think his power at heavyweight is still a question mark.

Haye has good raw power considering his size, even at HW it's certainly above average.

Certainly the raw power is good in itself, I believe it's made more dangerous by Haye's above average handspeed. A punch is always more devastating if you don't see it coming.

Really? Could you give us one example? Ppossibly a big guy who didn't get sparked, or didn't lose the fight by 10 points.

Haye has cumulative power not one punch power. Chances are that he is hoping Wlad will crumble with a well placed counter then he can flurry and get a premature stoppage. It really is his only hope for a win.

Get a ref who will stop the fight as soon as Wlad is in trouble.:rofl

Valuev has been wobbled quite a few times.

What's losing got to do with it? Mike's offence got negated by big, strong guys that could clinch up and restrict him.

Him knocking out Wlad and Vitali in seconds ain't happening.

Oh and Holy and Lewis would be the answer.

Yea I agree. The Haye fans keep bringing up the Valuev wobble, I think that indicates very little. After all if that's Haye's best testament to his punching power then are Bergeron and Bidenko equally hard punchers?

No, I'd rather look at knockdowns like the Gurov (although he has a glass chin) or the first Ruiz knockdown. These don't come from devastating physical power but rather form being surprised and being caught off-guard. They didn't see them coming.

People maybe overrate Haye's physical power it's greatly enhanced by his good hand-speed and feinting.

Audley gave him about 30 free shots and he was still standing at the end of the fight. And he has one of the worst Glass Jaws in the sport.

Haye can punch hard and fast and has the "puncher's chance" against Wlad.

    Wlad probably punches harder though.
And Wlad, as weak as his chin is made out to be, has more proven punch resistance at heavyweight than Haye.

Haye's never been hit by a world-class heavyweight puncher in a real fight. Who's the biggest hitter he's faced ? Enzo Maccarenelli ?
