Yeah i see why it dosent make sense........Vitali getting knocked out seems unreal as he has never officially been down before....and for a carrer spanning a decade that is impressive. BUT i just think he is open to being knocked out....or maybe it due to him being so arkward looking, that i underate him myself. You see......Vitali fights since Lewis....have been Sanders, Williams, Johnson, S. Peter.......respectlbe wins....over decent condenders BUT most of these men had significant flaws.......shorter and lack of skills cutting off the ring against taller fighters AND an inabilty to get there shots off. The closet was C. Sanders who in my book decked Vitali but it was ruled a slip! Vitali taking that huge punch from Lewis was WOW like......impressive to take......but this was a Lewis who in my book was at his lowest, and borderline most over confident (Lewis i beleive thought of the Klits as M. Grants type guys) especially after he saw the Sanders knockout earlier that year. Anyhow........taking one unbelievable good shots......does not mean u can take 5 or 6.......and sometimes u have off nights. How does Evander get put down by B. Cooper and not Tyson and Lewis. I just have this feeing that if Haye fights Vitali in the summer......he wins........then fights the younger brother Vlad and losses.....like i said could be totally wrong. Logic would say the other way round.........but seeing them fight in my mind is what i see for the outcome.
Sorry another post- Just to add to this..........Heavyweight boxing i feel is getting stronger. The top 3 fighters now are fighters who could have competed in any era...how succesful they would be im not so sure. Vitali Klit Vlad Klit D. Haye The next batch arent so bad N. Valauev R. Chagaev S. Ibragimov J. Ruiz A. Povetkin C. Arreloa (still untested in terms of a name) A. Dimetrenko Better than the 80s........imagine if Holmes and Tyson didnt exist. The 80s would be a huge disapointment.
any heavyweight has a chance in boxing, thats why they get paid the most, a heavyweight haymaker will rock any fighter to the core, if i fought a klitcho i would have a chance of knoking him out in the first 30 seconds... a chance but not a very good one.
Yeah - Haye will be fun while it lasts - but that's it unfortunately. He knows this too - that's why he is trying to meander his way round the top 15ers and go straight for the money. He deserves credit for his outlook imo - and he always entertains....Give the man a chin/cranium , some stamina and another stone in weight and he would be very dangerous imo.
Peter hit Wlad on the chin and back of the head...Wlad got up and got back to pummeling Peter. Against Sanders, Wlad did not have the poise to regain control of a fight. He beat the count after each knockdown nevertheless. His chin is mortal, but it's not like one punch and he is out. Ever noticed that nobody ever looked good against Vitali? Sure, he lost two figths, but even there the opponents did not look all that good. No style has worked well against Vitali so far, that by itself is a pretty amazing fact.
Wrong. The punch went straight over his head, he leant backwards while crouching down and nearly did some Matrix ****. He feel to the floor and Barrett punched him while he was laying on his back. And Vitali Klitschko got put down in sparring by Raphael Butler with an overhand right back in 2005? Buckling his knee in the process - which was the reason he had to pull out of the Rahman fight 1 of the 4 times. Who else has the combination of speed, power, overall class and agility to do it? David Haye is the only guy who has the attributes to beat the Wlad Klitschko. He's the only guy who combines all that, others like Chris Arreola have the power but not the mobility or overall technical skill. Wow. Some achievement considering it's a worse division than Larry Holmes' back in the 80's. Don't think for a minute he's unbeatable. The guy is breathing heavily after the first 2 rounds, with his mouth open and his chin hanging out to be shattered. He cuts aswell as we all know to well. He's slow and robotic. He boxes with his jab from the outside, but he doesn't move. And his jab is powerful and stiff but pretty slow. His timing is also poor. Against Gomez, he couldn't time any power punches for about 5 or 6 rounds. Now against a more mobile fighter than Gomez, i.e better speed and hand and foot, better reflexes, the ability to time that jab and get inside and land and get back out again. I'm not saying Haye is necessarily the man to do it. But maybe somebody will come along with that mobility, speed and understading on range and timing. And when they do, bye bye Mr Klitschko. Haye is no ****ing Herbie Hide. Herbie was a guy with natural power and speed but an awful chin. Haye's isn't that bad, watch him get nailed by a noted punching Carl Thompson with right hand after right hand when exhausted and stay up, although get stopped on his feet. Plenty of people are supporting Haye. Because he brings exciting to the heavyweight division, he's an excellent self-promotor and gets people talking and interested. Haye has everyone chance of beating Wlad. He's a very under-rated technical fighter, his defence in terms of upper body movement and reflex speed is also vastly under-rated. He's a combination of power & speed, plus the aggression and heart and desire, and mental toughness to upset the odds This content is protected :rofl
Didn't know it was from 6 months ago. Just shows how very little you know about boxing. Go suck donkey corey Goomba.
