I have been Following boxing for 50 years and I really don't know why boxing EXPERTS like the guy who started this post have not been inducted in the boxing hall of fame. He knows things that most of the real world do not know. We can only see with our own eyes. And hear with our own ears. But I guess David Haye is the greatest of ALL TIME. Hell he beat the best of the best in every way shape or form. So We will all have to live with the fact that Audley will only be in the top 10 of all time as well as Dereck and The beast from the East.
So the list MUST be something like this for all time greatest HW.

    1. David Haye
    2.Dereck Chisora
    3.John Ruiz
    4.Nikolay Valuev
    5.Monte Barrett
    6.Audley Harrison

Oh No we have to stop at 6 Because thats all the fighters David has beaten. As we all know that the fight between him and Wladimir Klitschko should be a no contest because of Davids Toe . And the fact that Wladimir Klitschko did not knock him out.
So there you have Boxing in the Heavy Weight division can now be totaly cancelled and no other fights should take place until David Haye says he has another big meaningful fight that his fans will want to watch. All other fights are meaingless. Hail King David the Savior of Boxing.

Thanks for starting this post I can now live my life in peace and harmony.

Glad I could be of help.:good
Even the majority of Klitschko fans know exactly where I was coming from with this thread.
I've got plenty more where this came from, but 50 years of following boxing you'd think you'd know where someone was coming from when he makes such a bold statement.
Since we're talking about sweeping statements, maybe you should get an idea of a poster's previous form or opinions before you let them have such a fundamental effect on your future.

Haye chasing Vitali shows a fear of Wlad. And Haye doesn't seem aware how bad it makes him look to chase the 41 year old titlist instead of a rematch with Wlad.

A Povetkin fight makes alot of sense for Haye. No other fight (beyond getting Vitali and somehow winning) does as much for Haye's legacy and Haye's status as an elite heavy. And a win would earn him another shot at Wlad at 50/50 or close to 50/50. Finally, Povetkin didn't look great in his last fight so now might be a good time to take a shot at him.

A fight with Adamek would accomplish pretty much the same thing, so that would be a good alternative.

Why is everyone so against Haye fighting Vitali? Is it because he might actually have a chance at winning? Some of you people sound like ****ing fools.

I agree Povetkin would be a good pick, but I have a feeling that it's Vitali or bust for Haye.Don't know if he'll take anyone other than Price as a test for Wlad, and only a good performance against a genuinely big guy would convince me he had any chance in a rematch.
Unless he fights Price,I'm not sure he can get up for anything other than one of the brothers, preferably Vitali because a Wlad rematch has little or no commercial value.

    You shouldn't be surprised mate.
If (and it's a huge if) Vitali took the fight and Haye won,we'd be in double standard city forever on ESB.Vitali would have been shot and it'd be "prime Vitali would have destroyed Haye" whilst forgetting the warcries of "Prime Lennox was coming off his best win against 'Prime:rofl' Tyson."
Klitland is a strange, strange place devoid of any fairness or logic.

The disgrace is fanboys giving Haye a pass for chasing the 41 year-old aspiring politician instead of the prime lineal champ.

Haye had plenty of chances to fight Vitali over the past few years and didn't follow through. Unless Vitali himself wants the fight, the time has probably past. Haye should take another run at Wlad. The first fight wasn't all bad and a rematch would probably be better. But first, fight Adamek, Fury or Povetkin.

Vitali hasn't retired, holds the WBC belt, and is very beatable at the moment. Why would Haye not go after Vitali? He makes more money in a Wlad rematch if he has the WBC belt that he won from Wlad's brother.

Haye wants to retire and he is looking to cash out and blow another world title opportunity.

    Vote NO.

Haye's head is big enough without these troll threads.
