Haye won this fight decisively, demolished ambitiuos Ruiz so please dont talk buulshitt about DQ

Of course Haye was fauling but who cares about small fauls

Ruiz was a joke , looked like in slow motion

    But Congratulations to Haye.

It's in England, as I mentioned before and do so all the damn time these things are legal for the British fighters. Ricky Hatton beat Kostya Tszyu LITERALLY using WWE rules and was allowed to without any single warning. Punches to the back of the head, elbows, headbutts, testicle grabbing, beer in the corner, singing, farting, shoving, knees and many others are all considered punches if the British guy is throwing and landing them. Boycott major fights over there already and bring them anywhere else.

You could set your watch by the general forum.

In the heat of the action when your trying to get Ruiz out of there and he turns his back to you what are you meant to do? Ask him nicely to turn back round?

Other than for the second knockdown, a legitimate foul, Ruiz was turning his head so far that I wondered if Huggy Bear had been replaced by Turning Owl. Smart fight by Haye, by not meeting Ruiz toe to toe he didn't give him any opportunity to use his prime weapon, that of 'the first date..'.

Personally I thought Haye boxed well and Ruiz showed great heart taking some of those blows

Regardless of the other fights, tonight was one clear foul and Ruiz turning away at every opportunity. That's the fact of the matter. The problem with boiling it down to one nationality is that there are still individual fighters who are allowed to use clearly illegal tactics in almost every round they fight - Bernard Hopkins, John Ruiz and if the Kessler fight is anything to go by, Andre Ward. Dirrell in the froch fight who actually managed to foul more than Froch due to his holding and flailing.

I think in many cases more competent officials would do the trick. Maybe an additional ref at ringside for majorly controversial decisions. Then we have the inconsistencies - Cortez wouldn't let Hatton hold at all but allowed Hopkins to do so all night Okay, a large part of that was because both fights were in the US and the home fighter will always receive the rub of the green but it shouldn't be that way - anywhere in the world.
