    rules are rules

if a guy cant continue due to an illegal punch caused by the other opponent then the other guy should be automatically DQ'd

Haye got lucky Ruiz got the heart to continue on tonight

its not hating its boxing 101

    He could continue.

He was the cause of the blow:- at the last moment he didn't seem too keen on presenting Haye with a legal target.

I am stunned at the inconsistency of there being no uproar over Ruiz landing several illegal blows after the bell.

It's boxing. It's not as if they were kicking each other, punching low or biting their ears off.

A lesser man would think that this was simply an anti UK thing.

if haye beats any of your list of pretenders...you leave the board for good.:yep your style of posting is more suited to mma anyway...:lol::lol:
why dont you become a beleiver in the hayemaker who is the future of the heavyweight division.:yep

  6. you talk some right **** you do, makin out it doesn't happen anywhere else but england. take your head out of your arse and understand this only certain people on esb think hatton v tsyzu was a dirty fight. dirrell went down last week against abraham from a shot after he was already on the floor and got the d'q win. yet a few fight's before he enterd the super six dirrell had been guilty of the same offence when he was clearly hitting the opponent when he was already down, it's a ****ing fight **** happens. haye imo was only guilty of rabbit punching in the first rnd only. the rest of the time ruiz was turning his head and has only himself to blame

LMAO.... so Ward, Hopkins and Ruiz get off scot free, typical logic of the general.

  8. eh, its str8 up hating, if a fighter gets batterd for 12 rnds takin nothin but clean shots up until the last seconds when he turns his head takes a shot to the back of it, then just says he carnt continue, the rabbit punched ****d him up to badly, your telling me that you would be happy for that guy to win by d'q, your talkin some right ****. that is bull**** you might aswell make it illegal to throw any shot to the head it's a ****ing fight

It is dangerous and the first one was stupid (as Haye even admitted himself) but the others were Ruiz turning his head so its tough. Personally i'd rather a fighter be overly aggressive as opposed to overly cautious, bring that sort of aggression to Wlad and Vitali and lets see if can handle it. People can argue all they want that Wlad is much improved and wouldn't have a problem with him like he had with other punchers and that Vitali has a great chin but no-one knows what would happen until we see it - FACT! Personally my money would be on either Klit but i'd give haye a chance, and more than just a punchers one, especially against Wlad and all I do know for sure is I want to see those fights!!

    Peace

Actually you clown the ref can stop a fight if the man turns his back and is deemed to not be defending himself.
When a fighter turns his back, he can expect to catch a punch in the heat of the fight.

A point deduction was correct. If fighters were DQ'd every time they committed a foul the entire history of boxing would look very different. You get warned for a low blow, then you will get a point taken. It takes consistent fouling to get DQ'd.
People using the head intentionally will not be automatically DQ'd.

You are talking absolute ****. If the ref had waved the fight off in round 1, saying that Ruiz turned his back and thus showed he did not want to fight on, I am sure you would have been up in arms about it. But by the letter of the law he could have done just that.

not a bad performance from david haye, but i did expect better. haye i thought look tired very early on, and the jabs from ruiz did get through, but the power and speed once again showed why david haye is a huge threat for the klits.haye can become the undisputed champion at heavyweight. too much youth, too much speed and certainly too much power when he lands as frequently as he does.

Exactly. This is two fights in a row in the UK where Haye has used rabbit punches to score KD's. Ruiz was not turning his head, Haye was either pulling him down or on his side and intentionally aimed at the back of John's head to score the KD's.

I am sorry, but you Brits can try and excuse him all you want, but David Haye is a dirty fighter.
