rabbit punches happen a lot in boxing, i don't like to see it, but when an opponent keeps turning his head away to avoid punches to the face like ruiz was doing, then he's going to get punched in the back of the head. it happens in every country.
Are you totally agreeing with his comment?Leave the Haye rabbit punching asside for the moment. He got a point immediately taken off btw,and Ruiz did a bit after the bell. But are you as ignorant as Scar is?
It's the ref that's to blame too. Had that fight happened anywhere else we might be reading about a DQ in the boxing news, and not congrat news. A fight can be won on a single rabbit punch, that's how nasty they are.
He was intentionally clubbing Ruiz behind the head, made it all clear by throwing hammers on the back of the head, repeatedly. I hope Wladimir fights him and puts him on a stretcher for all you nutdinglers making poor excuses.
i think the opponent should also be put to blame, because ruiz turned his head totally away so that the only punch haye could land was a rabbit punch. haye was throwing combinations, that's when ruiz totally turned away. he knew what he was doing, he was desperate and is a very experienced fighter.
we all know what rabbit punching does to wladimir as peter showed that, maybe haye can do it, but even worse this time. i hope haye puts that boring ass heavyweight out. i hope not in a stretcher, but i hope he knocks him out.
I thought Haye wasx first rate last night. Knocked him down countless times, cut him up and broke his nose. Haye was .... out of breath. Ruiz was a proper battler and did himself proud - but he was in with a boxer of a different class. I think Haye may not beat either Klit, but he has a very good chance and for boxing and the HW division this has to be good news. If you aint seen the fight, you must. It was fireworks from the first bell. Well worth watching. Thought George Groves looked a brilliant prospect on the undercard. He hits like a mule. I think Britian will have two of the top super middles in three years time, and a fight betwen him and DeGale will be remenicent of Benn v Eubank.
Fair enough, we all can see why he wants Wladimir in London, so he can pull out those hammers and try to take advantage of it. I don't even think he'd get that close, I expect Wlad to keep him outside and absolutely smash him. This fight needs to happen, even if Haye won't leave the safe haven that is the MEN arena, Wlad should go to him and take care of business, and claim whats his, the WBA belt. :yep
David is a good boxer but i fancy he gets stopped by the klitshcko's, adamek, povetkin or solis...someone fresh and hungry.. errol chin
Im just kidding, I actually think Haye's been doing rather good as a champion, at least as a CW champion. He snatched the belts off of JMMormeck in France, and I can certainly respect that, and he took the belt off of foul Valuev in Germany, which I can respect. Ofcourse, you know I know better than to actually think he's all about home ground.
