David Haye is only hated because he is British

Yeah. He was on some German talk show and they were asking him why he didn't think there was much comedy in Germany.

 

Can´t laugh about that. Distasteful IMO.


Problem is, most Germans take everything they do serious. Very serious. Even comedy. Serious comedy can´tbe funny.

Absolute nonsense!! I like Haye as he seems a personable enough guy and all that talking and shouting puts zeros on his paycheck.... BUT....he is not as good as he portrays himself to be and ,most importantly. i think he knows it. He cannot keep going on and on about cleaning up the division and then pull out of fights, or not make the fights when they are presented to him, or whatever the case maybe. The fact he is from london does not matter to me 1 iota. Id say the same if he was from anywhere else on earth.

 

While its true that americans and euros often just dont like brit fighters its also true that haye has caused a lot of problems for himself, the fight he was going on about for AGES is right here for him now and what does he do?? Nothing, its a sad situation imo and he should get plenty of stick for it, hes turned into a total spoofer. What he said he always wanted is staring him right in the face and he cant even talk!! pathetic

 

I don't make it a point to laugh at that, but being related to survivors and victims of it I can appreciate a decent joke when one is made.

 

haye should better back up his words or he will be hated for the rest of his professional career.

 

I like fighters that give 100% in training, in the ring, and who also show at least a bit of class outside the ring. You must do all three of those for myself to be a fan. Haye severely lacks on the "class outside the ring"...that's why I don't like him. It has absolutely nothing, NOTHING to do with where he is from...doesn't even enter into my mind.

 

Not because he is British but because he is Bitchish.

Beside his close Win over Valuev he has done nothing at HW. Ruiz was old and Barrett was done.

Other guys like Solis, Adamek, Povetkin have done more at HW (Adamek at CW too) than Haye.

It's funny because it's probably true. I also heard there is a massive shortage of German midgets for circuses and panto because the nazis killed them all.
