David Haye is SIGNIFICANTLY better than Povetkin, Adamek, Ibragimov, Solis & Helenius

Same for me. I gotta say I was impressed too. I'm got caught up in the trolling/hype bull**** before the fight like lots of us and I thought Haye's chin was glass. Was wrong bigtime. Even though he didn't engage enough if he was fighting anyone who doesn't move backwards as fast as Wlad (anyone else in the division) he would of landed a bunch.


Thing is it seems hard to get a consensus on exactly where he sits amongst the top teir guys. His resume isn't great but which of these guys has a better one? Povetkin does. Chag, Iggy. That's about it. Christobal? Anyone putting Haye down shouldn't be using this HBO hype job.


Haye is a very dangerous fighter against guys his own size. His two performances that people use to discredit him are against a 7 footer (possibly the GOAT) and a 6'6 er who moves faster than most of the normal sized guys in the division and is a long term champion.

 

Haye isn't man enough to try. He could get a good payday to try too.

20 pounds overweight against ray austin.who he was knocking silly untill he gassed and before you say sure thats not a gd excuse i suggest you go and watch a so called recent boxer who has dropped 2 stone and managed to gain alot of respect from 90% of this board..at the end of the day iggys fought tougher op than haye FACT :blurp:blurp:blurp

The only reason people wont admit the obvious (Haye being a level above everyone but the Klits) is because they hate him and he is from Britain.

Simple as that.

British fighters are always looked down on or talked down (even an ATG like Prince Naseem Hamed) due to people either hating Britain or being threatened about Britain being the new mecca of World Boxing, on the flipside, mediocre Europeans/Asians/North,Central and South Americans are hyped up as being something and 90% of the time they are proved to be nothing.

TBF, I've seen a lot of people trying to **** on Lewis because of his losses to Rahman and McCall. mainly Tyson and Holyfield fans, which is kind of ironic :yep

 

im british and i dont think haye is head and shoulders above everyone else..id like him to prove it tho..he makes for intresting match ups against top 10 heavys but wont fight them and you dont wonder why??
