''Dereck is impressed with Joshua. He found him not just in great shape but having trimmed down to the lean muscle, which is what he needed to do if he is to keep out of danger by boxing Ruiz at long range.''

''And although he's taken off the over-muscle, he's still punching damn hard as well as being quicker on his feet.''

''Apparently AJ is fully focused and right back into his boxing.''

This is good to hear, as I don't want to hear any excuses after the fight. None.

He'll still be 240+ on fight night, would be my guess...

No excuses first fight and there won’t be again. Forget the odds , Joshua is very much the underdog and has it all to prove. Ruiz walked through his shots first fight and was able to get on to AJ easily, AJ has to prove he’s a good enough boxer to negate what happened in the first fight.

Won't matter as Ruiz is all kinds of wrong for AJ.

AJ just can't match Ruiz for skill. And Ruiz has already dealt with AJ's power.

Rewatch the AJ - Parker fight.

AJ actually knows how to RUN when needed (a la Hughie Fury)

Can he run all night? Potshot Ruiz to death? Maybe. I give him a 40% chance of winning.

AJ with a good strategy can take this fight.
I'm not sure which fighter to support since I like both AJ and Ruiz.

I like Ruiz a ton better.

But I agree AJ has a chance.

Says the guy who talks the biggest garbage on here then cries about being wrong directly after ( see this clowns before and after Canelo / kov comments about fixed fights and such ).

You'll be taking much more big hits on here as usual bc you really don't know much about boxing as you do verbally attacking people my racist friend. lol ,the more you run your mouth the more dumb you always look and you even make threads about post fights switching the plot around which makes you look like a PIN HEAD ,don't you realize that ? :headbash

I assure you, there were plenty of excuses floating around after the first fight from

    • Joshua was concussed from sparring
    • Panic Attacks
    • Didn't have adequate time to prepare for Ruiz
    • Chest operation
    • Eye stye/flu
    • Underestimated Ruiz
    • Wilder distracted him
    • Drake took a photo next him

    Want more?

This is why I say I don't want to hear any excuses after December 7th. None

Blah blah blah, where is the big talk before the first fight that you were spewing?

You're the same clown who made big claims that Joshua would knock out the likes of Mike Tyson and Muhammed Ali

Hows that working for you?

And why don't you tell show the proof of me ever being racist you dumb donkey.

And who came up with them? Didn’t hear any from Joshua’s camp or Hearn.

I think the source of the excuses is key here mate.

I still have some trouble believing Ruiz can do it again. Boxers like Povetkin and Fury are picking him to win though, which means something. But I think he might be overconfident. If Ruiz loses, he and Kovalev officially would have ruined Christmas.

When I said I don't want to hear any excuses, I was directing at the boxing community on here, since Hearn and Joshua don't post on these boards.

But to address your point, Joshua did an entire hour long sky exclusive interview where he came out with a load of excuses and talk about how he lost interest in boxing and was caught by a lucky punch and his mind was focused on Wilder.

So yes there were excuses coming from their mouths. Accept it.
