We all wanted to believe, and of course, we've heard little from Haye himself on the subject of his next fight but it does look like he will be fighting Audley Harrison as opposed to his much demanded clash with either Klitschko.

    Should we be surprised?

See I would have even been happy if he had said that he wanted to settle at heavy for a few fights and fight some of the best there before he took on the klits but he didnt even say that, instead he comes back after a long long break to fight someone like Audley? What a disappointment, there's no way you can really justify a fight this terrible after what's happened.

Can everyone just stop talking about this show pony?

Maybe then he will just go away, and stop further ruining this sport.

Good point. As I suggest. We're guilty of creating these fighters, by talking, watching and paying for them.

If fans only knew the power they possess.

It can't be harnassed, thats the trouble.

It's the only thing we can really do. Anything else just feeds his fire, and rolls $$$ into his bank account. $$$ he gets by ripping off his fans, and boxing fans in general. We have been had. I actually thought when this all started he would deliver, but he just took everyone on a ride.

    Poof.

I can understand Haye ducking the Klits for now (as he would likely get KTFO), but why fight a rank amateur in Harrison? Why not take on another top-10 HW and gain some legitimacy? He's a fraud, I'm afraid.

He'll fight Harrison in Great Britain this year, then, he will face Valuev next year.

    Very sarcastic.

Harrison then Holyfield wouldn't surprise me.

    funny, then Ricky Martin?

Haye is a good, good fighter and brave as a lion but he's allowing the business of making money divert him from his original mission.

One the one hand you can't blame on the other you can.

I don't buy that he is fearless or 'as brave as a lion'.

If he did then he could make a lot more money by taking a lot more fights. His approach is like someone who is ruled by fear - or as much as a professional fighter can be considered to be.

His career at heavyweight has been defined by taking on infrequent and weak challenges.

Contrast that to the Klits, who take on the best they can get, and do it often. Then compare their paychecks. It is obvious that - if you really think you can win (like the Klits do) then you make more money by taking on the risks and doing it frequently.

If you consider fat Kirk Johnson, fat Danny Williams, fat Sam Peter, fat Chris Arreola, fat Carlos Gomez and Albert Sosnowski to be risks then we're watching a different sport.
